sorry mate you are right, from one end of the exhaust i can fit my hand in but when i try to go through the muffler i can almost get my hand in.

ah yeah thought they were like that, not that it really matters they still flow a lot and the main thing is they keep the noise down

^ lol

i got a question for people that know about fitment with rims and stuff. first to clarify im not buying these im just interested in this offset because i dont undertsand what it would look like. ive never seen a number that low usually around +13 offset and stuff like that is what ive seen so im just curious.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Lenso-PROJECT-D1R-D...rts_Accessories

18mm more inner clearance (between rim and strut)

and extends out another 44mm

fucken power went out last night, froze while i slept :(

pics phag stop keepin me hanging its like trying to stream a p0rno on dialup..

yeah 4.3 is more normal, no one would sell aftermarket 3.4 diff gears, it would be horrible

so yeah with 4.3 you will get quicker acceleration and lower top end speed

and at 100km./h youll rev more, but your traction will be more important

as it will likely induce more wheel spin as the rotation speed is higher for lower gears

so when you come on power it will likely wheelspin even more if you dont have good suspension/tyres/rear setup

If they dont do the work they shouldnt have taken the diff. It was second hand but there was nothing wrong with it. When the guy opened it today he saw straight away that shit wasnt right. Might be a good thing, im over the 2 ways now, want a 1.5 way.

the point is that it is sent to a specialist who know what they are doing... it's what most tuners do as it gets the customer the best product and doesn't hold up the workshop

yeah creatd don't bust apart diffs.

also how do you assemble a diff wrong if you give em a housing and an assembled 2 way? There's only one way you can assemble it, everything either fits or it doesn't.

i'd say it was f**ked when he bought it and kinda worked when it had fresh fluid in it...

not too upsetting considering what you paid for it kris :(

weird... i was warm?

the lenso's are -1 not +1..

hottt

noooooooooo

wow didnt know auto 33 had higher diff gears than manual

so it runs less boost but higher diff gears

fair nuff

never had a boost gauge in my car, but what should the stock one read at in a manual, assuming standard dump/cat and no other mods?

if it's a bog stock ECR33 auto then boost is 5psi switched to 7psi at 4500rpm

if its a bog stock ECR33 manual then boost is 7psi swithced to 9psi at 4500rpm

for 100km/h in ECR33 manual it is 2650rpm

for 100km/h in ECR33 auto it would be around 2850rpm ish ?

the lenso's are -1 not +1..

took that into consideration when i worked it out :)

haha i got a shitty phone pic, cars is dirty as though

although you dont notice it much being yellow

weird... i was warm?

    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
    • Thanks for the replies everyone. Definitely a coolant push. Oil catch can is empty and always has been. As the engine is out now I'll be having a good look over things. I do have some detonation on the piston tops from a trigger issue back about 5 years ago. I felt it and shut off then bought a new ecu and changed the trigger. Never been an issue since. It never hurt the power, its made almost 80hp more since that incident but I will pull the bearing caps to take a look. If the bearings are damaged I will do a bottom end refresh. Head is being re conditioned at the moment and the block will be cleaned and checked to ensure it's flat. I'll go with a kameari gasket and see how it ends up. The other thing I'm not super keen on is the cylinder colours. I suspect this is from the inlet manifold. The plan will be to put it back together, retune and then stick a plazmaman billet inlet on it and retune. I'm happy with the power, if it makes a little more, then great, but I would rather just make everything more efficient at this stage.
    • Maybe they'll look to do a bunch of presales to help inject some cash fast for their financial issues...
    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
