Sell my car because it has a problem? How about I just fix the problem. That would be the logical solution

If everyone sold their car everytime something went wrong there would be alot of f*cked cars on the market!

lololol fix the bent chassis hey? we used to do that at driftline on a rig using manufacturer alignment spec. minimum $9000 bill  gotta take all the panels and glass off, bend the car till it's straight then put it all back on... or cut sections of the chassis out, sandwich in replacement section, then get it engineered.

the quote was in regards to your faith in people who spin stories and how naive you insist on being when people are trying to advise you otherwise. There's only so many times you can try to tell someone before you just facepalm and walk away.

do you honestly think there aren't?

depending on which part of the chassis is bent (I'm guessing front?) you might have to ditch and run before you sink any more money into that car.

fuck off... you know he's gonna do better than the majority of 33 owners :(

we'll just publicly shame and humiliate him until HESDOINITRIGHT. So in fact, Mohsen didn't buy an R32, VIC wasteland just did.

pity it's auto. although, 11ty billion times easier to swap to stagea RB25 tho.

haha, yeah. gets a bit boring to drive around after a bit. kind of over it already, being auto n shit

Jezza, fkn sell it. Would you be comfortable running around in something thats got/had a bent chasis?

I know i wouldnt.

Fkn cost cutting indie wanna be ferrari driving wannabe rockstar ladyboys these days

let go of the wheel and its dead straight, no vibrations no nothing :)

say valet switch again mutha fucker! i dare you... i double dare you!

lol man you should read the aussie VW forums, the fags on there get butthurt about anything that's not OEM when it comes to modding your car. it's a fuckin golf, get over it.

f**king this.

yer but lets be serious, 99% of the time golf owners are douches, gays or women

and sometimes this.

It's perfectly safe. Every mechanic has told me that. They couldn't even tell that the chassis was bent. It was the old owner that told me that.

Lol, don't worry, I didn't pay $10k for it :)

I got it so freakin cheap considering it has the GEN3 engine. My other mate was going to sell me his for $16,000! And then he blew the motor :D Lucky I didn't buy that one ay..

dont stress about it jesse. every car has had a hit at some point etc so as long as it drives straight etc and theres no issues who cares

no matter what you post theres always 2 pages of stupid feedback so take it with a grain of salt

but it is friday so its all good

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
