have a read of http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1539164&p=65 if you can bothered

i was trying to find out what the throughput and speeds was like

i would assume you go on a different shaped network or bandwidth bucket choosing an unlimited plan

nah i meant more for ripping a DVD onto your computer or movie box network

instead of taking up 4GB when you can get a reasonable copy for sub 1.5GB in decent format and plays on most systems

need to get me a qnapp and some 2TB drives, they are only $109 each!!!!

TPG changes your line over to its own DSLAM, so your telephone calls are actually sent through a transparent VOIP gateway. So you can't use it for faxes and for alarm systems etc. Easiest way to find out what arrangement they plan to put you on is to ask them if you can still send/recieve faxes on the line. It's a little shifty atm how they're sayin "$30 line rental" when you're in fact on a naked ADSL plan.

Can't see that bothering me

less talk about internet... it bores me

wired up the factory Xenons to work on mien golf today. posted it up on golf forum, bitches got mad jelly.

It has dawned on me that golf owners are the KE70/AE86 owners of the Euro car world.

yeah doesn't bother me either, I'm on their unlimited ADSL2+ plan clocking about 12mbps atm.

Dont suppose there's some way I could sus out what kind of speeds I'd be getting with them before signing an 18 month contract...?

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
