only CA 180's were N/A. they're shit as. s13's came in 2l na, and u can get autech s15's... or s2000, bmw 3 series, mx5, ae86 etc.

Yeah Grant was reffering to GTR :)

Yes they are the same!

And you complain too much

And you complain too much

I've done more complaining than driving the GTR...

Maybe it's over for me.

congrats!

call me stupid but i actually feel depressed, anyways

set a high price, see what offers i get.

aiming for an na boat atm.. but depending how much the 32 sells for, i could get a 34 or poopra with extra cash on top

want something different but. also, jzx100s are exempt too, hey ;)

Just keep at it and fix whatever needs fixing.

All the best man!

If I want it to be 100%, I'll need to piss at least 10k on it.

I need to piss the dynamat off, previous owner had it covered in boot including 4wd and HICAS ecu... Stereo wiring to be binned, sound deadener removed, louder exhaust required, new wheels, 100k service, rip the hicas off, list goes on...

Well...yes, that's a given. Just ask all the idiots who have done it to their rb25 and now it's slow as shit... U don't remove a turbo from a turbo engine.

And u won't even get offers if u set it at 10k. People won't even look at it cuz ur plainly dreaming...

set it high, trawl for offers

mm ae86 ey...

so just to clarify, the rb20de minus T option is a no go, correct?

All this effort, for what?

N/A + 4wd = bad idea. Why? 100kg of transfer case, front diff, front driveshaft to lug around when N/A doesn't have power to spin all 4 wheels.

if i was a p plater.... 4age ae86/ke70/ae71 or R31

mx5's are fkn cool... BUT only cool once slammed and fitted so hard that petit would actully bar up if you drove past him

    • Sorry I haven't been following all the detail, so you may have tried this. Does it idle with the tiniest bit of throttle you can add? You've mentioned the IACV, does it have an AAC valve and have you adjusted it at all (ie, screw the idle adjust screw all the way in, then back it out a couple of turns until idle is stable)?
    • My bad, I unplugged the one underlined in red instead of yellow before. With the car started, after unplugging the IACV (the one underlined in yellow), it idled at around 400/500 for 3 seconds before stalling. Attempting to start the car without the IACV will not start the car.   It does stutter and sputter for around 5 seconds before dying. However, immediately after starting it, you can already hear some slight sputters from the exhaust.   It won't start with the AFM unplugged. If it is when the car has already started, it stalls in a few seconds.   Yesterday, I did take some logs using Nistune of 3 scenarios. Car idling till it stalls Car idling and unplugging the IACV Car idling and removing the AFM I also have some previous logs of when the Car is idling till it stalls and when driving and it cuts. I am not really knowledgeable enough to understand what to look for. After every test, car idles rougher and rougher, until I have to stop. It will be fine the day after.
    • There is no difference between a 17x8 and an 18x8. The total diameter of the tyre needs to remain +/- the same (so you don't mess up the gearing, speedo reading, and clearance when turning front wheels..... so you just need to use a lower profile tyre on th 18 than you do on the 17. /rocket surgery.
    • I thought the same to start with. But then I thought it was one of those LCAs where the end of the ARB goes through a bushing in the LCA itself, instead of having an end link.
    • Yeah - I mean, go the other way. Smaller range. Not larger.
