Go all out like this guy

thats just begging for it lol. unless its an actual cop car..

I think you wire these up to your existing globes?

edit; or make up a circuit

ahh champ :thanks:

Ah yeah just flashers, old news, you won't have any trouble getting those..

Rim-spec - EPA Victoria - CR33M

lol nah i wouldnt do that

or would i

ahh champ :thanks:

the DIY only flashes the lights one-by-one. Trying to find one which flashes the left a couple of times before switching to the right. Prob some simple circuit for any electrical guru.

Random flash with headlight override.

the one on the silvia, isn't there a controller to alter the flashes to whatever pattern u want?

Not sure on which kit they are using. There are a lot on ebay which have a controller connected to little LED globes which you would then insert into the headlight housing. (most likely by drilling a hole and poking it in)

Less destructive if can find a circuit diagram which taps into the existing headlight power wires. Would probably be much brighter too.

you can put a relay in line to each headlight and connect the headlights to the normally closed, then wire 12v through the flasher to the relays. when they get a signal from the flasher they will cut power to the headlights b/c the relay opens the circuit.

ah there we go. Pick up one of those el cheapo flashers off ebay. Chop off the LED globes, hook them up to a relay which is connected to the headlights and bobs your uncle. (i think)

Quality

All these people whinging about idle/start up problems, my car must've been solid, never once had any issues with anything like that..

All these people whinging about people whinging. I wasn't whinging, so quit whinging. I haven't fixed it on my car in the 2 and a half years I've had it. If I was whinging, I would have got it fixed it, and then whinged about it here in the whingeland thread. So sick of people whinging about other people's whinging, and now I'm sick of whinging about it.

End whinge.

I only contact the EPA for people who drop cigarettes and other litter. When I drive past them, I stick my head out of the window and yell, "You're gonna regret that!". Then I yell, "Flawless Victory!!!".

the lovely thing about skylines is that it could be SO MANY things..

Such fond memories of driving in the middle lane in heavy traffic at 100km/hr on the ring rd.. down the hill after Sydney rd.. ***STALL**.. sheeeet! Trying to restart and change to left lane safely at same time... while rolling down the hill at 100km/hr.. FARK it's almost funny now.. lol. Managed to get it to start before the bottom of the hill.. Think I lost a few years off my life tho..

OH PS that one was from dodgy AFM

i had a similar moment on the ring rd, going past kelior park drv at about 100kph, the car started to splatter and then just stalled.......lost power steering and breaks thinking wot da f*** put it in nutral hazzeds on slowed down and pulled over.

it started back up straight away and i drove home easy, ended up being coil packs wer gone..... put splitfires that week and she been fine scince....well for now.

    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
