Unless the house is covered by a Heritage Overlay, you can essentially paint it whatever you like.

When I was working in the industry, I once got a few phone calls from a resident who was complaining that their neighbour had painted his house fluoro pink. Turned out to be a neighbourhood fued escalating, and because the caller sounded like such a bitch, I took great satisfaction in telling her that there was nothing I could do about it : )

i remember that... it made aca/tt

fuck a mate just got 372awkw out of his 2.4 stroked evo 6

full boost just before 3600rpm

fkn weapon~!

Sending my iphone 4 back to vodafone because i've gotten out of my contract and they're shit.

Did you just ring up and sook and they let you out? Thinking of doing that with 3.. only about 3 months in and hating it.

knocking down rubbish bins with a cheapo 4x4 is alot more fun

lol this is hilarious... so much less harmful than knocking over letterboxes so i don't feel bad

This wasnt that one, but i know the one you speak of. From memory they also decided to build a couple of townhouses at the rear, and connected them all to the existing house at the front by way of an external corridor. Was classified as an 'extension' to the house and therefore did not require planning approval. Sneaky bastards lol.

Yep, voda and three have merged which caused all the problems in the first instance. I called an sooked and didn't get what I want, so I went to the ombudsman. They folded faster than superman on laundry day after that.

In other news, might sell the iPhone 4 if anyone wants it? $600 is a decent price yes?

yeah sounds about right for auction 10% approx over, keep in mind agents/sellers have a 15% leeway on auction which is a pain. I'd suggest sunday papers im not sure where else the info is available free. Agents subscribe to services for sale prices etc. To be honest the agent shouldnt have much issue telling you buyers are thin on teh ground so get in with a few agents well and they will look after you well and hook you up. pm me the address if you want i can try run em see if i get anything

cheers for the help, PM sent.

Havent called up the agents yet, but im sure they wouldnt mind telling me the price.

Found a couple of good ones for private sale, itchin to give them an offer as I reckon it will disappear in a couple of days! haha

We'll see what happens.

hmm how many gbs?

how much would you sell for?

I duno would sell it for low - mid 20s, can get cheaper GTRs but eh mines in good nic and a 1998, none of this 1989 crap :P

I've had 3 skylines now and now that I've owned a turbo one wouldn't mind moving on but not going to give my baby away that would be silly. Mind will probably change once I take it to a track though.

orly? i'd come give you the deposit if i knew mine was gonna sell any time soon...

not sure about the tracking it business though

Haha well maybe you can have a look when yours sells in a few months :P

By tracking it I mean it would still be my daily, just seeing how quick it goes around a track might make me not want to sell it :P

indeed. hopefully it will sell within the next few months :/

by tracking it you mean flogging it! :domokun:

Yeah well being a GTR I'm sure its been flogged at some stage in its life :P as long as its nothing stupid like lap after lap after lap and not warming up / down all will be good :P I'd probably prefer to buy if I know it wont break on a track day :D

But in all seriousness if I did get the right price I'd go for a 4 door of something, getting over the 3 R33s I've owned :whistling: although it is fun beating cocky V8 drivers on the road..

Maybe I should post up a EOI

    • The rain is the best time to push to the edge of the grip limit. Water lubrication reduces the consumption of rubber without reducing the fun. I take pleasure in driving around the outside of numpties in Audis, WRXs, BRZs, etc, because they get all worried in the wet. They warm up faster than the engine oil does.
    • When they're dead cold, and in the wet, they're not very fun. RE003 are alright, they do harden very quickly and turn into literally $50 Pace tyres.
    • Yeah, I thought that Reedy's video was quite good because he compared old and new (as in, well used and quite new) AD09s, with what is generally considered to be the fast Yokohama in this category (ie, sporty road/track tyres) and a tyre that people might be able to use to extend the comparo out into the space of more expensive European tyres, being the Cup 2. No-one would ever agree that the Cup 2 is a poor tyre - many would suggest that it is close to the very top of the category. And, for them all to come out so close to each other, and for the cheaper tyre in the test to do so well against the others, in some cases being even faster, shows that (good, non-linglong) tyres are reaching a plateau in terms of how good they can get, and they're all sitting on that same plateau. Anyway, on the AD08R, AD09, RS4 that I've had on the car in recent years, I've never had a problem in the cold and wet. SA gets down to 0-10°C in winter. Not so often, but it was only 4°C when I got in the car this morning. Once the tyres are warm (ie, after about 2km), you can start to lay into them. I've never aquaplaned or suffered serious off-corner understeer or anything like that in the wet, that I would not have expected to happen with a more normal tyre. I had some RE003s, and they were shit in the dry, shit in the wet, shit everywhere. I would rate the RS4 and AD0x as being more trustworthy in the wet, once the rubber is warm. Bridgestone should be ashamed of the RE003.
    • This is why I gave the disclaimer about how I drive in the wet which I feel is pretty important. I have heard people think RS4's are horrible in the rain, but I have this feeling they must be driving (or attempting to drive) anywhere close to the grip limit. I legitimately drive at the speed limit/below speed the limit 100% of the time in the rain. More than happy to just commute along at 50kmh behind a train of cars in 5th gear etc. I do agree with you with regards to the temp and the 'quality' of the tyre Dose. Most UHP tyres aren't even up to temperature on the road anyway, even when going mad initial D canyon carving. It would be interesting to see a not-up-to-temp UHP tyre compared against a mere... normal...HP tyre at these temperatures. I don't think you're (or me in this case) is actually picking up grip with an RS4/AD09 on the road relative to something like a RE003 because the RS4/AD09 is not up to temp and the RE003 is closer to it's optimal operating window.
    • Either the bearing has been installed backwards OR the gearbox input shaft bearing is loosey goosey.   When in doubt, just put in a Samsonas in.
