dmax boot and roof spoiler yes plz

only if your going the full look like this guy, id say gtr front bar and spoiler + lows is better

probably just knocked the cable going from the PTU to the coilpacks a bit. engine moves when under load, just enough to cause a break in signal.

yeh took it out this morning up an down the street full acceleration no issues, apart from shittty neighbours id suspect

i need a service plus my front pipe put on and my new tie rod ends and some new suspension bushes also new engine gaskets installed. soo... who wants to do it :)

Front pipes is an easy job if you have ramps. Tie rods are easily replaced too but will require an alignment. Engine gasket is heaps of work. I'm lazy lol

my niggas

had someone call sayin they have an S1 GMG r33, LSD coileys has a dent in the back quarter (where a pod will be fitted)

dude says one of the lifters is noisy and its auto.... soooo how hard is a manual conversion and how costly would it be to fix the lifters

goddamn you're a deadset dropkick. hasn't buying one shitty auto and dreaming of converting it to manual taught you anything.

take the money you'd spend on the 33, add 1k to it and then buy a manual instead. rather than buy an abused auto and spend 3k converting it to manual.

seriously, you're living proof that Darwinian theory doesn't apply to humans anymore.

Well the r32 is hard enough to get rid of. And I need a car ASAP

Their bog slow and I have an auto license so I dont mind if it's auto or manual.

Another offer was for an 06 bf falcoon wagon lol

I'd rather buy a bike what can 4-7k buy you for the car a kit and some rims? :domokun:

Maturity kickin' in yo - shouldn't do the gtr up >_<

Just a bit of a personal question - you guys/gals that are 25 ish renting or got a house? or still living at home? and to add those that do have a house what age were you when you moved in and was it with a gf / wife / a Mohsen?

I'm still living at home myself but thinking of just saving in the next few years for a deposit, have 25k of commonwealth bank shares atm so it would help with the initial saving

26, 27 this year. Live with my inlaws, have been for about 5 years although I've been with my partner for 10 years. We bought land last year and will likely start building this year.

Cool

In other news, wanting to go to winton next month for sau championship - how hot can my engine oil get to safely? because I probably wont have oil cooler installed by then so was thinking of doing hard lap then 2 slow ones or something? or am I being to soft I do notice the gauge go up a fair bit during a hill run when i'm not even pushing the car that hard at all is 140 ish safe to be running on?

140 would be max. But u may find it a bit cooler on the track with 2 laps. We r talking about 5mins max on load. Not. 10-15 min moutain run.

No cooler is not ideal, but safely safely as she goes would be the plan. Catch tank for gtr is what u want tho, from what ive seen the stockers blow a bit (5-6 have done this, u end up with oil dripping from the pods)

My gtst never got over 100deg with the cooler.

Hamish that is hawt!!!

Also i run down a smurf, ran him through the blender and he is know lubing my gearbox :P

Skyline possibly gets inspected this Sunday when I get back from DECA. I say possibly. Hopes are not up too much given track record and I'm starting to sound like Mohsen. Please cross your fingers for me :)

    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
