Yeah easily. As long as we get there before 10pm - free entry and I should be able to get us a guestlist.

You 100% keen? Coz the guys want me to choose our destination today.

How big is the venue? Can't tell from pics. We want a big crowd and lots of ladies to mingle with :)

boutique is fkd for getting in unless your a footy player or something

i dont go any joints that i have to line up for or are real strict i cbf with that shit if they dont want my 200+ dollars once im inside they can go and get fkd

having said that clubs are shit anyway bars ftw

^^ TRUE!!!

Fuck clubs and them saying you can or can't come in.

It's fucking discrimination and who are they to judge to tell you if you can come in or not.

You are paying money to get in and drinks, which then pays the staff / security.

If they don't wanna get paid, I say fuck'em.

So called womens right and shit, yet they get the privileges.

Not that I line up at clubs anyway, as I know ppl :)

Yeah have to agree with you Alex. Knock back 5 guys who will spend a grand that night, and instead let in 5 girls who will get pissed on 2-3 Vodka Cruisers each.

Okay, if that's how Jet Black looks now, it has changed a LOT since I last went lol. It's not a massive place but it used to be much roomier looking (none of the tables in the middle) and there's a downstairs room too. Speakers on the wall look the same though. Sure it's not an old, old photo off Melbourne Pubs?

lol @ whip

its ringwood

as long as you can stand your not getting denied :P (having done it many times myself)

Yes it was just an example of a place that isn't stringent on groups of guys, yet still presents a good ratio, showing how unnecessary discriminating against guys is. Honestly though, exclusive city clubs aren't what they're cracked up to be. I've been to most of them, back door escorted into CQ...they're not impossible to get into if you try hard enough or make friends with the right people - just a pain in the ass when it comes to organising a boys night out. They're also no better than some of the suburban clubs who don't care about crowds. I'd take Blitz in Berwick over Boutique...

Oops, yeah. It's off Melbourne Pubs. My bad.

This is shaping up to be a good night :) 3 SAU members in so far. Anyone else wanna join? :P

Also, I went to Blitz with Chad and his mates once. I was sober and still had an absolute ball!

Girls at Blitz = hot. You gotta rationalise that the hottest people from a particular suburb are going to turn up to the only club in town. I don't believe in the whole bogan stigma of suburban clubs either...where do people think the city club crowds come from? lol.

Jezza PM me your number, in the likely event i get knocked back at boutique ill be looking for somewhere else to go

Edit: yeah birds it was sat night, im definitely a friday at cq lookin guy haha. Alumbra was fkn the worst though, couldnt believe it.

Agree with you re: not strict but still good turnout. Reminds me of when i used to do Eve Thursdays religiously a few years back.

mmm outing tonight would be nice... not clubs though, bars ftw indeed..

but work tomorrow, fml

and, business cards printed.

"sales manager" fml

I want business cards.. Would be sick.

I can try and get you guys some decent prices on a print run of business cards if you like...

I know a printing in house design place.

How much? I more want them mostly for shits and giggles :P Give them to girls etc. but they'll be serious cards for my songwriting/arranging services.

100 would do me. Rough price?

Yeah they can price you up for 100 cards.

But starting price is $99 for 1000 cars, full colour, double sided, heavy weigh card, gloss / laminate.

When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
