now can you PLEASE type properly.. not text talk.

dont mean it as an insult. just gets irritating trying to read it.

Why are you wasting your money on another cooler?

It was a good turnout for a really shit day..... It was good to have a look at a few cars and have a chat.

changing to a turn flow man :)

almost called ya this morning couldnt find bursons didnt know it was on the right hand side haha.. only chucked 2 laps hahha :)

I have a button clutch...I also have 205 tyres with 50% tread...and a turbocharger...yet I still manage to avoid slip in the wet and I wouldn't call myself a pro. But I'm not talking about accidental slip on take off anyway, I was referring to people intentionally losing traction in the wet...which is exactly what H00N implied with his first post, particularly with the "learning how to do it" remark. As I said before, if that was not the case, then forget about my comments regarding it.

Tailgated? Get real mate...the closest I got to your vehicle was during a merge into the right lane from a left hand merging lane and there was atleast 3 metres between our cars at all times. Funny also that you didn't bring this up at the service station we both stopped at - for there was your opportune moment to offer me some constructive criticism on my driving rather than waiting for a thread to come up where I piss you off.

i have 265's with -5 camber and under 25% tread. bald really, i cant help not spin on some take off's but i can assure you no one was intentially spinning their wheels.. not that it matters.

"hoon" left early from the meet, so maybe find out of him rather than holding the gun occusing everyone mate.

atleast 3 metres my arse. you were WELL within the 2 second gap that i was entitled to..

lol bring it up? what for? it didnt piss me off or really worry me, i was just proving a point that :

a. your not the best driver on the roads.

b. we all make mistakes?

im not having a dig, i just thing you really need to practice what you preach.

maybe boosting behind me when a light just goes green wasnt the smartest idea.. anyways! i guess if it happens again maybe i will.

    • There are black hose clamps as well if you care. Plazmaman for example sells some: https://plazmaman.com/product/black-hose-clamps-premium-quality-stainless-breeze/
    • After using a protractor for an actually accurate assessment of what is required,  and by NOT using my uncalibrated eyeball I worked out I need a 25° silicone bend from the TB ro the MAF, but, my choice was either a 30° or a 23° (23° is a weird spec), so I grabbed the 23° one from Raceworks I also grabbed 1mtr of 3" straight from Just Jap, I needed 350mm, but they only had 300mm, or 1mtr lengths....meh Also ordered a 1/2" hose bulkhead fitting from fleabay, this has a smoothish mushroom looking head (they are designed for below the water line of boats) that will fit inside the bend, the hose bit and threaded bit looks to long, but nothing that a hacksaw cannot fix if required, the hose will then just get jamed on the threaded bit up to the retaining nut Fingers crossed and the unsightly amount of hose clamps will be reduced down to 4 once all the parts arrive
    • Oil change does not trigger code 21. Code 21 is for coilpacks primary side connection. You can try to clear the code with a battery disconnect, hold down the brake pedal to drain capacitors through the brake lights with the ignition on for 10-15 seconds before you reconnect the battery. I have seen R35 coil conversion permanently cause this code with no ill effects so it might be the resistance it wants to see isn't quite right on one or more coilpacks. Could be inside the ECU, could be the harness, could be a coil. You can test it all if you want or just ignore until the car actually starts misfiring.
    • I forgot you have a Nistune ECU. Use Nistune to do all the tests I mentioned instead of faffing with 30+ year old electrical connectors. You can read MAF volts off that too, there are reference values in the service manual to tell you roughly what it should be in different conditions.
