thanks dude.

there 18x9.5 + 15 all around

they cost me 2600 but were all different color when i got them so had to get them painted which was another 800 then tyres at 1000

so around 4400 + the stickers lol they were 80 bux haha

i got them from a seller on the forums named eugene from jdm performance

how come you didnt go something wider on the rear? wouldve thought a 10" at least

they will do for the street.

i think that by having 9.5's up front they will deliver enuff grip. its a pitty that the ku's were dissapointingly not grippy at all.

looking at getting nitto nt55's from o/s later down the track.

fair enough, btw did you ever considering getting the te37 sl's instead considering they wouldve cost you about the same as your current rims and already have been gunmetal and a touch lighter too?

Finally some pics!! I've been watching this built up avidly, and it's good to see someone with a very similar mentallity to me when it comes to parts. Genuine or f**k off!! Nice work man, will continue to follow this til it's done.

You have too much money aye... Haha

here ya go dude,

ill wash it during the week and get some clean photos of it.

very very nice car julz, the wheels really set it off perfectly. Your front bar looks like a nismo GTR bar from those side shots? Any chance in spilling a bit of info on where you bought some of the parts from? (i.e. front, hood..)

thanks dude. it doesnt come with out its sacrifices bro. i moved back home and rented my house out so i would have enuff free money each month to buy parts and stuff.

thanks for the kind words, just need way more time to do stuff on it, working 7 days a week sucks :)

hay dude thanks

the front bar is a tommy kaira genuine item, it was on the car when i imported it. u can see more photos in the earlier posts of the front bar

bonnet i got from a SAU member its a top secret carbon bonnet

rims from forum supplier jdm performance (top bloke as well)

i bought heaps of carbon parts from my mate who runs psi parts but still many havnt been put on yet, but im getting there.

THEY WILL BE UP BY SUNDAY, IM GOING TO VUS (PANEL BEATER AND SPRAY PAINTER OF MY CAR) TO LINE UP MY BONNET CORRECTLY COZ THERE IS A GAP THAT I AM NOT HAPPY WITH I WILL 100% TAKE PHOTOS TOMORROW IVE ALREADY TAXED MY SISTERS DIGI CAMERA LOL.

ALSO TAKING A LIL NEW DIRECTION FOR THE CAR IN TERMS OF THE ENGINE. ILL GIVE U ALL DETAILS SOON WHEN THEY R FULLY WORKED OUT ON PAPER. IM TOO INDESISIVE SOMETIMES HAHA

WHAT!?

f**k me! you really know how to make a cliff hanger!

hay dude sorry i missed ur post. the te37 sls are 4000 for a set then add tyres, + they r the wrong color, there gunmetal grey, my wheels are lamborghini satin black.

there only 200 or 300 grams lighter so to me that isnt really enuff to go out and buy them in terms or weight issues, my car has hardly any interior, and only 6x9's now + all the carbon stuff its a bit lighter than most r34's.

Nice build!

Any chance of more pics of the car & wheels in the day time? ;)

ill try dude, but im at work 7 days pretty much, on the odd ocasion i get a day off im running around getting shit done.

ive got a week end off though in a couple of weeks and plan on doing a few things to the car so they r on the way dude. cheers

couple more from saturday morning that a friend took whilst i was asleep at her house. its really dirty though so u cant see the pearl or the gold flake. i washed it on tuesday (it was sunny as in melbourne) and it was so sparkly in my driveway i couldnt look at it hahaha.

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
