The Power FC and Z32 afm with HKS pod have now been advertised in the Parts For Sale section, so first prioty is no longer with the buyer of the car. They are priced at $1800 and $350

Car is in the Trading Post this week...

Can't believe there is no great intrest in this car

I guess being a 32 owner and having spent the best part of all my money on mine, I can see real value in this car

I think the fact is people think of 32's as a cheap performance car, and you can pick them up for under 15 grand, usually a pretty crap example but its a 32. Chances are if you where to buy a cheap 32, you'd end up spending more just get a half decent car at the end!

For the 20g's asking price, this car has MASSIVE potential

Considering the average 32 seems to go for around 15, for a extra five g's you are getting a truly fast street car, a 2835 should support around 260rwkw on a RB20, which would make it faster than even a midly worked GTR. To put it into perspective, Clint32's car made around 235rwkw and ran a 12.8 at 113mph, with this turbo, and decent tyres and launch, a high 11 low 12 should be possible

To buy a stock 32, and to get it to this point, I doubt you would get change from 30 grand, for the 20 grand asking price, this car is a bargain

It takes a true enthusiast to appreciate and own a car like this, and no doubt thats the type of person who would buy a car like this, not someone who is jumping on the drift/import bandwagon and is looking for a cheapie to have some fun with

Hopefully you will sell it soon, as that old saying goes - spend a little more now, save a heap down the track

good luck with the sale

Chris

Thanks for the confidence boost Chris. There's plenty of people around who appreciate the car, but no-one wants to buy it. Dont really understand why someone wouldnt want to pay a few thousand over a mildly modded 32 to get all these extras. Turbo alone is around $5000 to replace.

Big Bump.

$19,500

otherwise im taking all the shit off and selling it as a NA

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
