The issue with that is that SD have set pricing and it makes it hard for a club like SAUNSW to make it work.

If only they were like any other venue and just had a hire price and thats it, we could allocate how many entrants, then it would be fine, but as it stands, the clubs events are not full enough most of the time to put any money back into the account so it's hard to justify booking a venue that doesnt sell out

Its good to see the government looking after us, NOT.

When the boat has its bits back in it Ill do a bit of research on the weather and try to work out a dry spell, Ill post up a day that weather wise should be fine a month or so in advance and see if anyone else is keen.

Im interested to see if changing tyres and reducing some rear camber can get me in the 11s

Steve, I agree re: the way that SD has its track hire set up. However, hopefully this will change in the future (as they are losing money), particularly with the new management. They just have to look across the road and see how full the track days are at EC.

Levinboy & mlr, that was my plan: have one lane dedicated to SAU:NSW and nominate one Wednesday night street meet (in advance with pre-bookings). This would be much more feasible idea and the club won't have to outlay a massive amount of money. I will see what can be done with this.

I spoke with them directly and they said they weren't going to make any changes to the structure of their club day offering. Like it or not, we have little say and minimal influence for change.

To rent a lane you have to pre-book 20 spots at the normal $50 rate (from memory). And then they put you in the "short lane" so I assume they still have all the lanes open but just rotate through the grid like normal.

We can poll for interest in doing this but might just be easier to agree a date and show up ad-hoc since you really don't gain all that much on a normal Wed night.

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
