There is something not quite right about the look. its the width or something, can't quite put my hand on it. But I think it looks great.

Question is, spend 15k on that and have a stock motor? Or keep the normal nose and drop 15k into the engine? I think i know what i'd rather... :D

I think it looks good. The rear arches need to have the same styling though(somehow) and needs bigger/ lower side skirts and a rear bar. Other then that, looks great and would be super different, so i would still have it in a flash.

I've tried pricing it all up, Nissan over here wouldn't give out prices for GTR parts.

But I imagine it's not cheap, an M35 bumper is $4,300 + gst here.

Check out Japn yahoo for second hand. Parts are cheaper than R34 gtr's. Easy to get front end bits due to people upgrading to carbon bonnets and fancy front bars.

Front bar approx $200

Bonnet $300-400

Have seen head lights on SAU for $1200-1500 each

My R34 front cost me $4500 in s/hand parts alone.

Reckon you could get it all done for 15k?

I dunno aye... I reckon the headlights will cost around 5K each :)

Considering our headlights are around 2.5K each haha

Thats what the guy says so in the other forum.

"You can pick up an M35 Stagea for around 5k upwards. If you could source second hand parts, which are rare, I reckon that would be around 2-3k So with the car, parts and labour, I reckon you'd be into 10k+"

Of course your talking GBP, not AUD. I guess it comes down to how handy you are with a spanner + Welder eh? 2nd hand parts would be the only way to go. Lets not forget, the guy owns a R35 anyway, so he mustn't be short of coin!

hmm.... interesting! Would be interested to see the exhaust he has in there (and how loud it is) and how he got around the ATTESSA pump

wow, way to make your stagea look like a bag of dicks.

front's wider than the rear. the fender and the A pillar doesn't line up properly. the front bumper doesn't line up with the bonnet. man if you're gonna do something unique, do it right.

like wilson tuckey says... do it once, do it right and do it with fibre.

Farken lol. Always good to get a colourful response from you shan. I bet Neil is missing his stag.

Totally agree, doesnt line up at all and needs to to be wider. Some others I have seen look better.

Me too, not sure about the styling issues. Also I'd question why you'd bother, especially in Britain where cars are cheap. For that money you'd get a 2001 Maserati. For just under 20K (pounds) you can just get into a V12 Aston Martin Vantage.... or for less than the 10K take your pick of M3's, Audi Rs's etc.

There's a limit to being different I reckon. I play with my cars but if those sort of cars were that cheap here, I'd be getting one of them rather than a bodged up half breed.

    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?

    • BRUH, one of the biggest mistakes of my life..... and i've had plenty ;[)
    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.
