Well this is where the 1/10 scale Winfield GTR ended up, thought I would let it spend some quality time with the winning GTR before it moves inside on display and for our baby boy that will arrive in next few weeks to play with when he grows up.

Looking forward to see some more video footage looks great so far :)

Hi Brian,

Dan was honest to own up to the fact that he has already received his show plate "R32.GTR" ( ^^^ - above post )

That means, I mustn't have given one to you! :D

Can you PM me with your address please, and I'll send it to you straight away.

Is the owner of "Best Councours R32 GT-R" here? It was the ex-Gibson/ex-Skaife burgundy red car. Anyone know the owner?

I need to send you your Prizes too = over $200 worth. :)

Is the owner of that dark grey R32 GT-R here - with all those flaws signed off all over it? Anyone know the owner?

Your Prize needs to be sent off to you too! :)

Cheers, Tez

So when do u guys rekon we see the video of the cruise?

sneak peak was awsume!

I did a lot of work on it this weekend but only about 2/3 of the way through. I'll also have to chop a bit of my content out as it is already over 10 minutes which is the maximum allowed on youtube.

So far I'm pretty happy with the way it is turning out so hope to have it up this week.

In your latest PM...

So you've "promised" to post up a pic of the 'booby prize' on the back of your car in this here thread!

When you receive it, there are special instructions on how to hang it!!!

I CANNOT WAIT! :)

I got some video, Joel, but it was hard with the traffic (both people and other cars). I'll be giving it to Eric to add to whatever he's producing, hopefully it turned out good enough.

Your footage Nick of the R33s and yep, the R34s and R35s and KGC10 leaving really adds to the entire theme of the day.

Great work!

    • Starter motors used to use the weight of metal (magnets) to provide torque. Now they use (more) current instead. This. It's completely normal.
    • So thing that had me stumped, but I think is OK....is that when it was up in the air, in neutral I had it running to bleed to coolant while I put the wheels back on. I noticed the rears were turning (slowly) which I'd never seen before 20250928_163512.mp4     Because there had been an issue with clutch slip due to pedal adjustment on the dyno, I assumed there was still and issue so spent some quality time upside down under the dash adjusting the pedal....but no matter what I did the wheels still turned in neutral. Even disconnected the master cylinder to pedal rod and same. In despair, I even removed the clutch slave so there was no chance of any preload causing it.....still happened. So either: 1. Something is not right in the bellhousing, or 2. Its a thing sometimes with cold, thick gearbox oil Internet says it might be 2, I hope so!
    • OK, few more things sorted and it is ready for a shakedown on 10-Oct, with one weird thing. Changed the run in oil and filter for the good stuff. 8l came out, about 8.5 went in with filter so that looks all good. Changed the starter (again), this time for a brand new one, works good. Interesting that the Taaaarks one is shorter than factory but spins harder, I guess electronics have moved on a little in the last 30 years. Will be nice to have a bit of extra space under there. Put the timing cover back on, and noted where the cam gears were set as a record.  Will need to double check the timing but it is pretty close. Also put the coil pack cover and intake snorkel back on. Exhaust Inlet Changed the water out for coolant, bled up nicely. Removed the rear brake pads (well worn factory sumitomo ones!), gave the hardware a good clean and reassembled. I've put bendix XP on the back again because the price is excellent at $150 a set and they worked well on the V37. Front pads have plenty so no issue there
    • Mine is all -12, I’m running a dry sump in a billet block though
