Maybe I should state I live in the us. so it's free shipping for me.

How comes it doesn't fit your rb filter? what kind of filter you have? what if I don't use the relocation kit and only the oil cooler.

Mate I got one, good quality, sept it doesn't fit my rb oil filter! And it was $100usd for shipping

So no.

You mean you can't fit it to the block (major problem!) or your current oil filter doesn't screw on the relocation bit (not a problem just use different filter)???

Well I'm in the US right now (have been for a while) and it's free shipping to me too...

They couldn't -pay- me to use that 'oil cooler kit' on any of my engines!

Especialy when you have such a HUGE selection of quality parts are very good prices localy. If you don't have the money to modify your car properly- DONT!

I would hazard a guess to say 95 percent of the guys on here don't have the coin to buy the best of everything, unlike you right? :P

To the OP, will it work as an oil cooler? Yes.

Will it leak one day? Probably, just like the Serck one I have here.

Should you get it? Get the best oil cooler you can afford if you're pushing the engine hard. If its a daily make sure you also get an oil thermostat, I run a second hand greddy adapter and it works well.

What's with the attitude?

Doing something properly IS NOT buying the 'best of everything'... I don't buy the best of everything, but I do try to do everything properly....

There are HEAPS of people on this forum, including me who come up with some awsome solutions to most tuning challenges. They don't just run out and buy the cheapest shiza possible.

The OP asked if anyone will buy one.... aaand I said HELL NO.

Also, he's in the US.... brand name tuning gear is very cheap and easy to get.... so why cheap out on somthing so important?? If you can't afford the extra 100 bucks for a decent set up then maaaybe you should re-think the tuning budget.... especially if your pushing your engine hard enough to warrant one.

greddy adapter with thermostat- $120

Lines and fittings- pushlock/bronze- $50

2nd hand earls core/cleaned- $40

Justin.

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
