Well I sure showed him! I only filled up half a tank; $1.60 was just a touch too much for a full tank.

I went out to Casino to have a squiz at some drags yesterday and at the servo spent a record (for me) $118 on a tank of 98, ouch pinch.gif . It was about 74L tho.

I filled up for just under $100 for a tank of 98 yesterday. Think that'll be my last time filling up at United, apparently they're dropping the Premium 100 10% ethanol juice because they've had issues from the Queensland floods.

Looks like the guys that did your exhaust have started producing; http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-STAGEA-250T-RS4-M35-TURBO-DUMP-FRONT-PIPE-/330566818023?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cf75158e7

Looks nice, maybe a bit of a tight bend off the back of the turbo though. The split dump might make it a bit of a PITA to wrap, did you have yours coated or wrapped?

What were they charging for the rest of the system?

Hmm interesting.

No, I didn't have mine coated or wrapped yet, left everything up to Andrew so far. I'm guessing it hasn't been wrapped, so I'll be adding that to the ever expanding list.

Not sure what they're charging for the rest of the system, I'll call him tomorrow and check. Waiting to post it here!

Haha atleast when you fill up you don't get yelled at by the caltex attendant saying "no no don't put ethanol in your car it won't work I don't care what you say" true story happened today lol

I get this everytime I fill up at Springvale...LOL

what a sham! he probably said that so youd fill right up.

AAron, thats gold! did you spin all 4 wheels right out of the station to show him that you CAN put E85 in your car?

ass hole with your Nismo.

lol shuttup.. even then it only goes up to like 54% till about 4500.. then once it completely opens my boost creep issue takes over and 22psi later the engine cuts lol..

f**k i need a nismo..

Was there a cloaking device optioned on the series 1? I suspected there might be because of how we've avoided any police scrutiny in the last couple of years driving it.

It was confirmed this morning when a woman ran into the back of it at an intersection, she apparently "thought we'd gone". 40 minutes later it was reconfirmed; on the way to a panel beaters for a quote I pulled over on the concrete apron of a factory carpark to get my directions, and as I began to move again guy reversed his flat tray falcon into the side of it.

Can it be turned off?

lol.

not just a stagea option, our 350z used to have it too.

6 reasonable hits in 5 years, all not at fault. highlights included an l plater driving into the passenger door, and a truck running into it and pushing it off parramatta rd onto the footpath

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
