Watched it in Thailand, was great not having to listen to the one hd nobs, and nowhere near as many ad breaks

I'm off to Thailand in November. I hope the rain stops soon but if it doesn't then at least Abu Dhabi is on for the first weekend which is in Bangkok.

Only rained for 2 of the 6 nights I was there, first time only lasted 10 or so minutes albeit heavy..Second night was for longer but still stopped before about 11-12 at night

As I hoped, HRT have seen sense and dumped Leeoozee instead of Ricciardo. Liuzzi's days are obviously numbered, whereas Ricciardo is going from strength to strength. Can't wait to see him out of that tractor and into a real car!

Marco Simoncelli died after his viscious crash in sepang. One of the worst I've ever seen, and that includes gilles villeneuve and tom pryce. That's two deaths in major motorsport in a week.

update on Kubica.

officials confirmed plans for a New Jersey GP in 2013.

"This is going to be an economic boom for this whole region. While political and public servants talk about creating jobs, the governor has put the pedal to the metal and delivered," Roque told Reuters.

"This is the top of the line in motor racing, it's incredible."

New Jersey governor Chris Christie is set to announce the deal in Weehawken, New Jersey, on Tuesday.

Joe DeMarco, an attorney with West New York, says it will be a long-term project.

"It will provide a very challenging course - they compare it to Spa in Belgium, but will have the feel of Monaco," said DeMarco.

He added: "It has been contemplated to at least run for ten years but there are options and so on depending on the success of it. Hopefully it will be a long term event, embraced by residents and the community."
