Dose Pipe Sutututu
I suggest you save all the money from wanky plenums, ra ra and go with a pov spec frankenstein RB25/30. There are many guys in the dyno thread easily smashing down 300 kWs with stock plenums. Being technically minded, you should be able to slap the motor together with ease. RB30 motor/block from wreckers shouldn't be more than $200 ~ $400 with no ancillaries. nik.
do we realy need to have twin gates with twin scroll? I wouldn't bother with a dual gate twin-scroll setup on a straight 6 as its not a true twin-scroll anyway . This is just my opinion, each to their own but i don't think its worth the cost of the second gate compared to a 4cyl setup where both paths are kept completely seperate. KiwiRS4T
You asked for suggestions and the cost effective solution is an 82 rear for your current turbo - 44mm wastegate (run it off the turbo) modify exhaust to suit and retune. If you really want a sixboost and greddy (copy) plenum don't ask if its a good idea (you'll be told they are not necessary) just go and do what you want to any way with your money. If you have to have a FF plenum its a simple matter to change your brake master cylinder for a shorter one ( a drop in the bucket cf what you want to spend). A . if that is directed at me, rb26 use 2 separate turbos so its obviously going to use 2 'isolated waste gates' Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/346450-help-required-from-all-the-turbo-guroos/page/2/#findComment-5777256 Share on other sites
