Risking
I'm looking at using one of these kando's on an SR20 that were building at the moment. It's a dedicated circuit car that will be used for driver training, and general track duties. Loong for around the 250-250rwkw mark, nistune, dry sump, Etc. I don't mind making it fit if need be, internal or external gate, new or 2nd hand doesn't matter What would those in the know recommend from kando? Manuel Kasko
Recommend reading back through the pages? Plenty of results the guy have collected and put heaps of time into adding heaps of info Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/347726-kando-dynamics-turbo/page/218/#findComment-6514151 Share on other sites
Risking
How did I know someone would post a reply like that. A quick question that 3 or 4 guys could do a quick 30sec post and answer with educated information making a simple recommendation for me. The handfull of people who I was hoping would have a recommendatioarcade always sourcing advice from me which I always am happy to help with. So I could spend 4 hours reading pages upon pages or I could ask a small question on the current page and get a recommendation. GTScotT
Td06sl2 20g 8cm is the ticket its a well rounded package that doesn't struggle to max its compressor efficiency even on 98ron. the L2 turbine is designed with the intention of high flow (we've seen up to 400kw from it) and making light work of turning a compressor. In the case of an SR it makes using a 420hp (20g) compressor have a good powerband within factory sorts of rev limits. On an RB25 the L2 helps make light work of a 25g wheel. you can expect it will get urgent around 3, be all in at 4 and make an easy 260 on 98. Go E85 for about 300, as stated its fairly efficient so going the ethanol way doesn't unlock heaps like it can for others. I hope that helps. GTScotT
Probably better you just get a T67 for RB25 mate Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/347726-kando-dynamics-turbo/page/218/#findComment-6514422 Share on other sites
jiri styles
for drifting? im deciding between the td06h or the td06sl2 both 20g and 10cm Edited September 2, 2012 by jiri styles Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/347726-kando-dynamics-turbo/page/218/#findComment-6514441 Share on other sites
GTScotT
Definitely an L2, but yeah I think the T67 (TD06SL2 25G) would suit an RB25 drifter quite nicely. the 20g is more of a fast street setup. jet_r31
Who's going to be the first to fit a T67 25G to one of hypergears "frankenstein" modified stock ex manifolds..lol cheers darren Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/347726-kando-dynamics-turbo/page/218/#findComment-6514746 Share on other sites
GTScotT
Lol that's blasphemy Darren, an unholy alliance. I think a highmounted td06sl2 would work better than the td05 on that car, fyi I have done a td05 SR before and while it is good I'm also keen to see how a td06 will better it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/347726-kando-dynamics-turbo/page/218/#findComment-6514770 Share on other sites
jet_r31
lol, well by my dodgy measurements, combined with batterys dodgy measurements he gave me earlier in the thread , the T67 should fit on a stock manifold with a spacer....lol cheers darren Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/347726-kando-dynamics-turbo/page/218/#findComment-6514857 Share on other sites
