What's the difference? :nyaanyaa:

I dunno, I just like taking photo's of gravel...:whistling:

also needs more low :P

lol nah kidding, looks good mate! im guessing with those wheels you CAN get big brakes under them?

You can fit Brembos; but I'm going a different way, if things play out right. We'll see.

way to reflective imo....what have you changed! :P

Looks unreal!!....not awesome though as it has no stripes or Nismo!thumbsup.gif

Thanks for the kind words; I'm not putting pink stripes on my awesome paint...:yucky:

The reflectiveness of your paintwork makes the rest of us look bad Dale. Can't you just let it get dirty!

Looks good with the aero bar, will look heaps better with foggies/spotties though

It gets drity in about 5 minutes! But it's worth washing to see the end result. Black is hard work...

I should have a pair of blanking plates by next week; and some Spotties down the track, when Ironpaw is ready.

I'm considering slotting the ridge on the blanking plate to fit DRL's; too ricey? I'm not sure...

i know what you mean with black, i almost dont want to drive it after washing it.

I wouldnt do DRL's, i tried with the LED strips under the lights. looked ok, until i started seeing them on commodores etc. took em straight off

Yep; my thoughts too. If they're not factory , it's just going to look like a 17yr old attacked it with a Supercheap catalogue.

Decision made.

which is why i took em off. lol

Dale, should've just had the grey parts on the original body work painted to match.

Would have looked better than the Aero kit

:P

And more cheaperer!pinch.gif

that unpossible!!

I would've had to punch it in it's smiley mouth. Man, I hated the stock front end.

There were some C34s at the last SA Stag Cruise that I thought pulled off the DRL look quite well, but I can't work out where we could mount them on M35s without looking crap.

Hmmm I was gonna buy a set of R35 Brembos but the seller wouldn't ship overseas,....dammit!

Proxy shipping companies ! Adds a bit onto the price, extra shipping and handeling, but if theres a deal to be had - and you want the item.. get on it!

I think Jase & Rose have them on their C34, if memory serves. Looks good, but I think Im sufficiently riced out with my squid rings without going the DRL route. I havent the feintest idea where you could fit them on our cars either.

Was this in a car yard or were you just measuring some car on the sly?

Lol, spotted it parked in a street as I was driving. No one came over to ask what I was doing measuring stuff at the back, so all good.

Then thank you for almost getting arrested to help me Leon!

Haha, where do you think I live? People round here don't care if someone is lurking suspiciously around the back of their car. If I was in Iraq it might be a different story. There was no almost getting arrested. LOL.

Way to ruin a good story :(

I have a better story... the two headrest monitors I ordered on eBay Sunday turned up today... FROM HONG KONG! :worship:

They look great, two 9" monitors with zip up covers to hide them from prying eyes. Can't wait till Brad and I get them installed Sunday.

Then all I need is the exhaust finished, and the Stag is ready for her big drive to Calder for Gymkhana!

That is lightning fast shipping. I think they foresaw your imminent purchase & actually posted them last Monday, lol.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
