Is it pony tail and red convertible time yet?

You do one, I'll do the other.

Lemme know what you go with. Although I'm not going sparse on top so I'm not sure I'll pull off the slightly balding ponytail look properly. Might be best for me to do the red convertible and the 19yo nympho girlfriend. You do the chrome dome panytail

I'm 22

I helped an oldie cross the road the other day, see some people do still care.

You'll always be a winner Chantalle.

So, if you see me with an aluminium walker in my left hand and a white cane in my right, you'd be prepared to help me across the road all the way to my gtr driver's door?

You would?

Jeez, I'm a winner too; even before the old blind disabled fart-driver turns the ignition key! Yay!

Yeh I think so, for me too ;p but I already have the long pony tail so all I need is a nice red ferrari ;p

Happy Birthday Kinkstaah. One year old, not any wiser???

Terry- Lol I might be to jealous to help you to your car...old blind GTR driver. I actually can't stand these ol' fart GTR drivers that get in front of me and drive like grandmas, and take a zillion years to get up to the speed limit

20 til the end of the month

You guys are lucky. You get to celebrate at both 18 (when you become personally responsible for criminal acts) + 21 (when you can start calling all the oldies by their first names and drop the "uncle"/"auntie" business).

Oh yes, and don't forget the the two large cakes!!! :woot:

Not Me!

I drive by sound - not by sight! lol

Gotta beat that 'Doppler' (effect)

Well Happy 30th Birthday! One year wiser ;) Have a great day.

That said, the day was awesome apart from the fact that my damn car broke down, twice. This is in addition to it breaking down on thursday. The stress of this may have added a few years I think.

Im ar, thur t3, beleive it or not. i probably should be driving a wagon but i never was stereotypically normal.

People look at me kinda funny when i have the baby seat or dog or both in the back of my skyline

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
