on behalf of my brother i am writing to ask if any1 knows a place that will put 22" wheels on my stagea, the car is not lowered and has 20s on it now, it comes standard with nismo electronic suspension and is still bottoming out on speed bumps and he wants the extra clearance as well as some bling, but have been told its illeagal and no one will touch it... any help would be great..

"it comes standard with nismo electronic suspension" I don't think so... Nismo; yes, electronic; no.

Anyway some pics of "boostedaxis" Stagea on 22"x 9.5s

They have monstrous arches, but 22's are going a bit far, and bottoming out on speed humps is hardly a problem I'd be trying to solve with wheels...

to the dickhead with the faggotory chart.. ur so funny man. i wish i was as funny as u. after seeing the snap shots of the m35 with 22's i hav decided against them. yes it is definatly bottoming out as it is my wifes run around taking kids to and from school and yes everyday it goes over 6 speedhumps with kids and bags in the car. i know when a car is bottoming out and as 4 the dick with the chart u only put it up cos ur shitbox cn only fit 18's. anyone who cn fit big wheels would if they cn afford em..

lol, no, rims bigger than 18" look like aids on 99% of import japanese car's. i can prove this with science.

also why dont you do a lil research into why race cars dont't run 22's. I'm pretty sure the ferrari F1 team could afford some chrome 22" full face dolce's with custom penis graphics, yet strangely they dont...

if i wanted the world to think i was a raging homo then i'd go right ahead and smack on some bob jane special 22's, but i think i might just stick to my light weight, single piece, forged, custom ordered, japanese rims.

also if you would like to be as funny as me, just use ms paint, it only took me about 5 mins to make the graph, 3 minutes of which was deciding who should be the baseline for straight. Having just watched deathwish, Charles bronson was really the obvious choice.

Actually mate, it is funny.

I could afford any set of wheels I pretty much wanted bud, in fact, one of my engines could buy your whole car.....

I run 16's and 17's because thats what most race tyres are made for.

20 inch + are for homos, unless you own an R35

:thanks:

    • would a r34 gtr hood line up with gt/gtt stock fenders? after latch, front bumper and hinges are swapped for gtr ones? or would the fenders be too low or high in relation to the hood surface? ( I believe seeing somewhere that gtr front fenders use some type of riser for the sides, but do not know how that relates to stock gt/gtt fenders.)
    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
