Hello, My Front right CV boot perished got it fixed for $110 for both on the right side, from Australian CV & Power steering. 9638 0022

I was very pleased with their service as mine threw grease everywhere and we all know the importance of getting these suckers sorted ASAP, he was very accommodating to fit me in on a saturday to help me out.

Just thought I would let people know incase they need theirs replaced.

Did they just regrease and do the boots? Or pull em off put new boots and grease them and then put it all back together for you?

P.S. Must have been a CV day....I did mine again on Sat!

Hello,

Pulled them off cleaned, regreased, new boots and cleaned a few scratches on them. He said the CV looked like a GTR CV.

I thought it was good for $110, I am assuming you did your CV's yourself.

Or you could use yellowpages.com.au to see if there is anywhere local... then call for a quote

You know, sorta like in the old days?

Oh so you're that guy who still uses the Yellow Pages and keeps them in business? :nyaanyaa:

Don't remember the last time I used the Yellow Pages. I use Google. If I'm looking for a personal recommendation I use forums, friends, and have found Twitter quite good if you use hash tags properly.

Yeah agree, I only use it to find something locally if Google fails me or I couldn't be stuffed looking through search results of "does anyone know good .... in .... ?".

Can't always find everything online - at least I can't :geek: although I did find a very impressive engine and cylinder head builder/rebuilder/modifier on the weekend that I couldn't and can't find online :)
