6 Sets of bars packed, and sent; 2 sets delivered. 3 sets of links and mounts Express Posted. Pm's sent to receivers.

4 Sets to be packed and sent tomorrow, and 2 more sets to be picked up.

It's almost over.

Got to have a bit more of a play this morning on the Comenarra Parkway this morning (pity Nankangs are so shit) and it feels awesome through the front....nice turn in and control + the initial bite is great.

Looks like it's got a bit more oversteer(yes I was in 4WD) but that is more than likely that the Nankangs have seen better days and it was wet.

happy day's....2 things left to do on the car....Diff's(on there way) and Gearbox(ust gotta get on my arse)

Final update!

All of the bars have been posted this morning, and PM's sent; so hopefully you'll all receive them prior to the weekend. If not, it'll be directly after.

Busted my arse getting them out in the last 2 days; you guys better appreciate it!:nyaanyaa:

Only a couple of sets left for pick up, and it's all over.

Thanks again guys.

Cheers, Dale

Bars from the first postal drop have already begun arriving!

Wow, that was quick. Thanks Dale, I really appreciate the effort you put in, especially getting them sent so soon after receiving them.

Cheers for that.

For sure, those are Sydney ones, I expect yours will be a tad longer than a day...

No problem, I know I'd be hanging to get them if I'd been waiting like you guys have.

I'll admit, I had some "help" from my 3 yr old son today; you guys like sticky tape, right?:whistling:

Besides, everyone has been really good with the couple of hiccups we've had, so I'm happy to work a little harder in return.

Also if anyone needs assistance with any aspect of fitting, set up, or general info; feel free to contact me, I'll forward my number once you notify me of arrival.

Cheers, Dale.

"Daddy's little helper", cool

I'd be interested to get a consensus on what settings give the most neutral handling, once a few guys get theirs installed.

I guess it could be a bit different to the first batch of bars you arranged... but maybe not since there's only 3 settings on each end???

It was pretty funny watching him trying to move a 32mm front bar; "I do it myself" lol, ok mate...:whistling:

It's going to be fairly subjective too; lots of different suspension set ups, and preferences. Bar diameters are quite different from the first Group Buy, vs the Whitelines; front 30mm vs 32mm and rear 24mm vs 20mm.

Less adjustment may not be such a bad thing, people sometimes get lost when there's too many options.

Ahh, only 2 holes on the Whiteline bars?? Sorry, I thought there were 3. I'll just go with the softest on both & see how it feels.

Correction;

Front has 2, rear has 3.

You'd reckon I'd know what I was talking about by now. huh?

I thought I'd seen 3 adjustment holes somewhere. You're forgiven lol.

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
