if some random started telling me to take 20 capsules of something that i was previously taking 2 off, i would definately do my research before doing it.

This is why said that I take that much but didn't suggest others should.

Fish oil in that sort of dosage of the standard 1000mg capsules is the only thing that aids my elbows and knees with the pain I get from lifting.

don't get me wrong, the pain is not "oh my god I'm going to die" pain.. but rather a dull ache after lifting.

it's probably more to do with the fact that I'm closer to 35 than 18 though.

It's not that strong per dose, especially seeing as though the dose is 10ml, although it is quite dense in omega 3.

The omega3 in flaxseed oil is ALA, alpha linolenic acid. It doesn't contain EPA and DHA which marine omega 3's contain.

ALA can be converted by your body to epa and dha, but the synthesis is very low in most people. In other words the omega 3 in

flaxseed IS NOT the same as omega 3 in fish oil.

Omega 6 is found in alot of foods, don't really have to supplement it.

Omega 9 is not an essential fatty acid, which means your body can produce it, so again, don't need to supplement it.

Conclusion - take fish oil instead of flax oil

I have gout (I'm only 23 but have family history of it) basically my liver is a lazy bastard & doesn't flush out all the toxins from food etc. like it should & that crap crystalises in my big right toe, f'n painful

starting taking fish oil tablets (1000mg you can buy from woolies) & haven't had any pain at all since

got a blood test done at the doctors & my uric acid levels (the stuff that causes the pain) have returned to normal

  • 2 weeks later...

Righteo so finally picked them up.

Took one this morning so here is my little review.

Opened the package and they are the standard size of all the fish oil tablets. Had a sniff inside the capsule and there is a very slight fishy smell but not much at all, which was suprising.

Took one after a bowl of cereal for breakfast - just down the hatch with some water. No taste what so ever.

Few hours later now and I would not even know that I had taken one. No burps. No taste in my mouth. No feeling in my stomach - nothing.

So overall I think it's fantastic and would highly recommend giving it a shot to people that have problems with taking other fish oil tablets due to "side effects".

Also because I ticked to be on their loyalty program I get 10% off every purchase. Because the first purchase doesn't include the 10% off, your second purchase makes up for it with 20% off. So brings the price down even more.

    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
