All det spec motors need de sticks as an upgrade/alternative of aftermarket ones here in Australia. I’m pretty sure after installing them you would run the ignition timing of the de motor then tune. Unfortunately this does not apply to vct motors.

Well. That's um.....cutting out quite a lot of the.....um..... "All det spec motors", isn't it?

Also, I wish to understand why it doesn't apply to VCT motors.

Dunno but should run the 3mm unbrakable piston rings too. Mi cousin's sisters brothers daughter reckons their sweet as yah no.
