What are you claiming that you haven't been able to in the past?

Can't claim shit in my current job...Boots/laundry etc up to the max without receipts and that's about it

Will be able to claim tools etc in the new job

I got a letter from the tax office because I forgot to include my interest in last years return lol

Most of the time it helps you get a larger return. My bank pays withholding tax on my interest. So when I claim it on my return it adds like $100 to my refund.

Edit: I think we had this discussion previously as it rings a bell lol

Dezz ATO prefil is your friend. Use it and you won't have this problem in the future.

Kris give the bank your TFN so they don't withhold. Better you make money off the tax withholding then the banks.

Pretty sure I did use pre-fill?

The letter said something like my bank informed them of my interest earned...

Depends how early you did your tax return. Banks take a little while to update the ATO letter.

Yeah you don't need to do anything. In a few weeks you'll get a notice of amended assessment and it will tell you how much extra you need to pay.

It took em a year to send the letter...I got it just before or just after I'd done this years return... Last year I think I did it pretty early, this year I waited a few months coz I couldn't be fked even though it only takes like 20 mins lol

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
