Car is making a knocking/thumping sound from the rear left corner, I suspect I have blown a strut.

Just as well, blew 3 weeks pay on crap when I could have bought a set of BCs :(

f**k you Mohsen. You douchebag

Ahh... The lifestyle of slammed cars.

I have one issue, loud thumping, so loud I can feel from front left, only noticeable at one place nearby but inspected the coilovers, nothing out of ordinary.

Now to avoid this stretch of road, but it's my main route home from work.

It's my mrs buying and she's R32 to the core lol

thats a keeper.

spotted a new STI forester. im not a subaru guy but mother of god, it was beautiful in pearl white.

now i need sau vic advice. whats the easiest way to defeat a kraken?

dez...

Momo, what coilovers you got? Apexi yeah?

If so, there's a mob in queensland can rebuild them at $265 per corner and no one in Melbourne will do it. Just easier to buy new BC's

Italians are known for producing low quality products..however, the car has soul and passion

You might not be able to throw it around like a Jap car but if you treat it well, it will last you long time. Good for inner city driving

Can't beat the sound of a V twin, am seriously tempted on an Aprilia Shiver. Wait for the "no exhaust" part...

My father has the S edition Forester with all the STi gear on it, awesome all rounder car, but pricey for what it is IMO, at 60k. Same engine as the rex and goes almost as hard!

anyone stupid enough to buy into the itallian "cars with soul" marketing is just retarded.

it's a car... it's metal and plastic and shit.... it has no soul NO SOUL

go watch some more top gear

Until it breaks down and causing traffic jams.

Previously owned a Alfa 2000 model, no dramas what so ever. Like i said, it's perfect for inner city driving.

You, like the bogan that you are, would be very fitting in your Skyline in metro Melbourne.

Good luck with your of phaggotry goals in 2012

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
