^LOL. Also waiting for delivery of said pics.

Varex ftw, can transfer it from car to car anyway so it's not a huge waste of money. Saved my ass a few times :)

A long term investment you say? That may be enough to convince myself to get one hehehe :P.

If you google 'Digital Gear Indicator' there's plenty available online. They can price up to ~$200 legit so I'd recommend something cheaper on eBay, $20 and hopefully it works lol. Or you can get to know your revs. If you know what your bike does in top gear at 100km/h then you can translate it to lower speeds and gears.

Did you like the meat though? Everyone else here seems to be ragging about it, I found it to be quite good and I even ate...get this...some medium rare beef...dun dun dun.

Nah no gear indicator. You can get aftermarket ones but cbf. Only time I'd find it useful is on the freeway, for knowing you're in top gear, but you can tell from the RPM once you're used to a bike. The rest of the time it's irrelevant what gear you're in, keep it in the powerband BABY

you using my babies now?

i have no complaints about the meat i thought it was good aswell but i'm no masterchef judge like everyone else here seems to be lol

as for the gear display i think it would make finding neutral alot easier lol

that along with a fuel gauge should come standard with every bike :/

i'll look em up thanks

I don't have gear display or fuel gauge lol. It's one of those things I wouldn't complain about having, but not a determinant in getting a bike cause it's pretty easy to live without them. There's more important info on my screen like my stopwatch :P

How u know to fill up with no fuel gauge? Mine is a life saver but I hate getting petrol so I wait till less than 10kms to empty to make my move

Lol

Bike switches to it's reserve tank and puts a low fuel light on. My bike also flashes "F-trip" on the LCD screen and starts counting up km like a trip meter - you get to about 40-45km before you completely run out.

Some older bikes made you manually switch to the reserve tank when the engine started chugging lol.

Try walking to the servo when you run out of petrol one day lol.

What's the point of a reserve is it's automatic? why not just put on a low fuel light

I ran out of fuel once, the red light didn't work :-/ Pushed it across an intersection to the BP

You only have reserve on bikes with carburetors (which is a physical switch), fuel injected bikes don't have a seperate tanks so it's a low fuel indicator. It's known as reserve because ye old days terminology carried over.

I usually find out how many k's I get to a tank and then reset my trip meter each time I refuel which then becomes my fuel gauge. Or you could just look in the tank.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
