You sure they're not CBRs they do look similar...

Saw an undercover motorbike pulling someone over :/ wasn't aware of their existence....

I saw that too the other day.

but they're bikes looks somewhat "Travel" like, right?

Just spent another 2.5 hours in Rimon's territory aka roof space. I love that shit now.

Lol did some roof work myself too today was in a new house though and very roomy :P

I see ALOT of spider webs in roofs even in new houses but never see the actual spider. 9/10 it's them harmless long legged spiders so meh

Come past mine afterwards, I'll be home :)

okay darling, spoke to the guy on the phone and agreed / he advised not to go for a balls to the wall tune and turning the wick all the way up hopefully a mild 350ish rwkw on his dyno (anything over i'll take as a bonus), still huge power some tuners go really aggressive with hem though but I won't just yet while it's still new..

lol the no lag thing is weird, compared to a laggy turbo car (ie my old GTR) that sudden rush of power I do miss.. but pulling skids in any gear is also fun :P and don't need to rev the crap out of it to go half quick. A v8 twin turbo would be my preferred balance :D

Aaron, you can never have enough power thought you knew this? :P

nah definitely 675's, they've got the badging on the fairings...

Yeah heaps of that around up there, but didn't see anything moving.. I've gotta do an exhaust fan or 2 at my place still....More room up there from what I've seen, but also had a rodent problem a while ago so not looking forward to getting up there...Especially when one of the fans needs to be installed about 2 meters from where I used to hear them the most...Should be interesting, hopefully they've all died and decomposed by now, and hopefully the smell is gone. Haven't heard them for ages so I'm confident they're all dead/moved out, but still likely to find some remains...

Hope you got some new tyres lined up...

Don't need new tyres when your fat ass weighs 1800kg.

Just pumped mine up...265/35 @ 33psi lol. 40psi makes such a huge difference to the comfort and handling.

Bunnings is the worst store to go and buy something specific; end up there for 2 hours browsing at other shit.

to the 86 dirvers, is the "awesome driving experience" simply because the thing is so underpowered that you just leave your foot on the floor and turn the wheel?

srs question...

my ksev was like that and to have fun you had to treat the clutch like rodney king

lol thats probably it. well balanced, low centre of gravity, rwd & foot flat in the corner. Probably feels a lot safer than a 350kw ford falcon doing the same thing haha

lol

where you putting em in bathroom/toilet? just run the wire from the light with a tongue/snake and save yourself getting up there

unless you want your lights/fans controlled seperately then different story...

Yeah bathrooms, seperate switches for heat lamps/light/fan all in the one unit...

Don't know how you'd get a tongue from the light to the switch without getting up there though? please explain.

Whatever you're about to explain might work on a house that wasn't wired up by f**king retards, which this place was...Made a simple job a headf**k and a half

Don't be hating on the falcon :(, 350kw + pedders = leave a 86 for dead through the hills :P not as bad as people think in the dry at least

    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
    • BTW I measured the jack I have, it is 70mm at the saddle but you only have about 700 until it returns to 150mm high at the cylinder so it is good but no magic bullet.
