E30 323i? should be 2-4k (not 100% it was $4-6k a while ago).

Well I was going too but he was debating whether or not to give me the High-Powered Vehicle fine for P Plates. I had my reasons for it and he eventually conceded that he wouldn't give me the fine. Fancy that, stiffing Pettett on a fine he so desperately wants to hand out. Still pissed though, don't get that fine so instead he reams me for a legal height car but still have to get a rwc. He's as big of a toss pot as people say he is, came up to my window and just took my license and didn't say anything. Absolute rude prick.

I'd be annoyed too if I was doing the same job for 7+ years :P

He got me in 2006 in knox, he has been at it for such a long time.. Imagine the amount of imports he has seen over the years... Must know every trick in the book!

His coworker tried to tell me that Pettett is so good at his job, and knows so much, that if he was to stick his head under the bonnet of a mechanics car, he would know more about the car than that owner would. Tried very hard not to laugh in her face.

he's NOT good at his job at all....

he completely creates his own strategy and disregards apropriate policing.

The only skill he has is knowing how to manipulate the laws to rasie revenue and pursue a small minded personal vendetta

      @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.

      I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.

      Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
