housemates are annoying.

My housemate went through 9 knives yesterday. All are sitting in the dishwasher, doesnt wash any of them so that everybody has knives to use the next day or day after. She single handedly fills the dishwasher in 2-3 days. Apparently she eats something every 2 hours and that requires plate, cutlery, cup etc. I dont know where she has the time to go to uni as well as use up the entire contents of the cupboards. She basically lives off hard boiled eggs and sometimes leaves shell fragments on the counters. ergh. She leaves at the end of June thank christ... but then I'm left with the entire rent. In April she started complaining about how could the house was in April, because Swedish houses are double insulated with triple layered glass. pfft, 15 degrees in house is not cold.

So car runs in that pic... why car no run now?

as it went into ford for new starter, (the old one died on the street outside when looking at dailys, and came back a 61/2 cylinder.

then we got drunk and build getting out of control

by 9 knives?

did you mean steak knives? or like kitchen cutting knives?

Why would you need steak knives on a regular basis? and why would you need 9 different kitchen knives? (i only have 6)

just normal cerated knives, ontop of the 2-3 kitchen cutting knives. Even if I was home all day, wouldnt probably go through like 3 max. and if i did, I would wash them with the non-dishwasher compliant stuff so there are at least some clean knives for others to use.

So about $200 to $300K once he gets a few years experience lol

probably in about a decade.

but yeah, the biggest hurdle, to be honest, is landing a good job in the first place, once you're in, you're probably set. and i put a lot of effort into work, but not as much effort when it comes to studies. Results show that effort, but employers always have good things to say, though its all hospitality, waitering and cook and stuff, so really irrelevant.

Am trying to get into my metallurgy lecturer's good books at the moment, so he'll be a reference for my resume, having one of the top metallurgical profs as my reference should do wonders.

I have 15 sets of chopsticks, i only use 2 sets. the same two sets day after day.

Washed of course. And i've never really understood using the dishwasher, if you're eating for one, its quite difficult to generate enough dishes to fill up the dishwasher, and while you're waiting for the dishwasher to fill, the food bits start going bad, in the slightly warmer dishwasher, and that's probably not the best thing to happen.

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
