I must give a hat-tip to whoever did the aftermarket parts for the game.

(My dorifuto Futo)

I love the shakotan exhaust, the subway ring hanging off the bumper in true bozo fashion.

Found a few nods to the automotive scene in the game.

The set of wheels that look like SSR SP1's are called 'Ruff Welds'.

Ruff Weld -> Rough World -> Rauh Welt Begriff Reference?

Most of the wheels look like existing wheels, Te37v's (above), ce28's, Regamasters (which have 'master' in the in-game name)

And the Elegy RH8 (GTA's GTR clone): i like to think is a reference to Record Holder 9 [RH-9]. A title given to select GTR's across the world that are road registered and able to run a 9 second pass (on street legal tyres, with 4wd engaged and with no parachute or wheelie bar) amongst a few other guidelines.

:/

no idea, you're not like in a mission or something. do random encounters hide the mission icons?

maybe try killing yourself and see if it resets.

It's like that for all characters though(?), might be a glitch

EDIT: quick google, this came up

GTA V – Can’t Trigger the Last Part of the Merryweather Heist

In the Merryweather Heist mission, you may not trigger the final part of the Port of LS Heist. This part may be lock; you must complete other missions as other characters such as The Long Stretch, Hood Safari, and the third FIB mission.

To complete the third FIB mission, you need to receive a phone call while playing as Trevor or Michael. Switch to those characters and make sure your in-game phone is on.

Btw I got a trick to buy properties for free

Purchase the property and straight after confirming that you wish to purchase then pause the game and go to the game menu.

Select to re-play one of the previous quick missions such as saving your son on the yaht.

Once you finish the mission it will take you back to your game with the property purchased and all the money still in your bank

Found out you don't have to finish the quick mission, just fail it and exit.

Anyone one done the stranger mission as Michael where you see a guy at a dodgy little stand who gives Michael a hit of something then you shoot a bunch of aliens? That shit is trippy haha

I'm getting close to the end I think. Is there much that goes on after you do the final mission? I'm hoping there is still a few things to do

You have similar encounters with Trevor and Franklin. Trevor's is equally trippy, Franklin's is hilarious.

I got my nerd on for a few hours tonight. I was sick of not to see all the stock market listings on 1 screen on the website, so i made a google chrome extension

you can download it here http://www.blott.com.au/assets/gta/gta5.zip

you'll need to Google how to add it to your browser as i'm not going to put it in Google Play. It appears to work for me, id like to know if it works for others. It loads in the datafiles from the website, there is so much data in these files, i can do heaps more functions if it works properly.

dude you're a champ!

but graaah at LCN stocks - bought a ton of GOPostal due to watching it go up and down, now it's flatlined low - will watch for a while. i'm an idiot.

crx'd up for people - open about:extensions and then drag/drop into there.

lost all my money in stocks (stupid chart doesn't update, but still affected online) and don't have any properties....

didnt realise you could just put the money in te bank and be safe. fuark

I hate how the game doesn't really tell you what to do for a certain mission. I been driving around completing all these side missions to find that I just hadn't found a getaway car and called the team.

Only reason I discovered that was because I went back through my text messages. So annoying that you can't go into the menu and see what you have to do to start the mission.

    • Take the value it measured as, and pick the closest range available that is above the reading on the screen.   Also, no point just testing the coils. Read what has been said again. You need to test all your wiring, everything.
    • Does the scanner do all the CUs in the car, or only the ECU?
    • @666DAN sorry to bring you and old thread.     I've got my de+t done and it's all running great other than 1 small issue.    Car has remained auto with the na auto and tcm, I've used a stagea ecu with. NIstune board and everything is great other than my gear selection on the dash. It illuminates park, reverse, neutral, 3rd and 2nd when selected . But nothing when in  drive or what gear your in when you pop it into tiptronic. I'm sure there is maybe 1 wire in the ecu plug I need to move to rectify this. Do ya have any ideas?     Cheers man
    • Well I recently changed my rear axles and was thinking if I bumped anything, I have been driving the car for a while now though... But it has been raining today so everything is wet under the wheel arches. Brakes feel fine and can't hear any of the metal screamers, I had a squeak coming from one of the handbrake drums but that seems to have gone away a while ago. I was going down a hill when it lit up and I did feel the abs bite for a second and question why it did it?
    • Correct. Um. I dunno. I haven't cared enough about the way that the NA cars work to know for sure. But..... The 33/34 turbo manual cars have an electronic speed sensor in the gearbox that outputs a +/- (ie, sawtooth AC) voltage signal. That is connected to the speedo. The speedo then outputs a 0-5v square wave (ie, PWM) signal that the ECU (and any other CU on the bus) sees. The speed sensor is NOT directly connected to the ECU. So here's the problem. Your new ECU expects to see the PWM signal, but must somehow be getting a direct signal from the diff speed sensor. Which would suggest that the wiring of the NA car is not the same as the turbo cars. I think you will need to spend some time with (hopefully the wiring diagram for the car) and a multimeter to see what is connected to what. Then, presuming I am correct**, you would then want to separate the ECU speed signal input from the rest of the car's wiring, and probably either buy a speed signal converter, or build one using an arduino (or similar). That would take in the speed sensor signal and output a scaled (and suitably rearranged) signal for the ECU. ** We shouldn't presume that I am correct here, because there might be something else crazy going on. I don't think you could convert the speedo to be fed from the gearbox sensor, because the pulse rate from that sensor is probably different to the diff sensor and then the speedo would read wrongly. And this also wouldn't fix the ECU's problem either, because the ECU doesn't want to see the gearbox signal direct either (assuming that they are all on the same wiring, for some odd NA related reason, see above caveat!) Does this help? Probably not. Can you make it work? Almost certainly. With the above work. You should buy a handheld oscilloscope from Aliexpress so that you can view these signals directly. Connect up the probes and drive the car. Show photos of the screen when drving at known speeds and connected to different places, and we'll see what we can learn about it.
