There are so many fabricators popping up all around NZ its not funny, there is some serious competition out there! Most of the stuff its not to bad quality as well.

for that price I would give it a go regardless haha.

I built up a drift car for my mate before I moved to oz, He brought a cheap stainless steel manifold to use on the RB25det i had to adapt it to fit his master power T70 and wastegate and heaps of other fab work but basically after over a year of some competitive drifting its still holding up strong. Even Jake Jones couldn't shake the beast to bits lol

Sometimes cheap stuff may look crappy but will surprise you how long it lasts.

chiming in on this.. I installed this on a freinds s13 SR and it has gotten the thumbs up from MRC and Rigoli.. Still waiting on a proper power run but is going well

edit: forgot to mention this was originally a non ext gate manifold. We drilled the merge collector and made our own ext gate point at a 45 degree angle

Hi there,

First of all i would like to introduce my self, My name is kam and i am also the owner of hybrid performance, www.hybridperformance.co.nz , we supply the manifolds mentioned and we have launched our new website , We are based in Auckland new Zealand and we specialise in Mild steel Manifolds and Turbo chargers ( non of that cheap junk going a round )

If you require any help or info or pictures please let me know and i will post it up,

We can also modify the Wastegate port according to what size you want but an extra cost will be charged,

Manifolds are in stock and ready to dispatch and we have customers world wide :)

I would also like to mention the link for Trade Me listed is not us and is one of the companies we supply to. It is cheaper to go directly through us but you are more than welcome to purchase from our suppliers too.

If any one can tell us how we can post up as a sponsor on the site we would like to offer the club some discount

Kind regards

Kam

Kam, Welcome aboard matey. As you have read here it was me that started this post. I am skylinefeb75 on ebay too. Your RB26 Manifolds are it would appear the dogs bollocks. I would like to order one with wastegate pipework to suit my Greddy 4 bolt wastegate if thats possible? Please drop me a message with your email addy in it and ill drop you a line. These manifolds would go a bomb on the GTROC and Skyline owners forums too.....I am more than prepared to introduce you as ive been a member on the GTROC for nearly 8 years now.

Can someone confirm what sized wastegate an "off the Shelf" RB26 6boost manifold comes designed for? Am I worrying the 38mm is too small for no reason???? What do you think guys??

Sorry Andy, I don't have any pics of the collector. It's much better then some of the stuff I've seen in the same price range though :)

my mate bought one of ebay, works great ran 280RWKW on 17psi on a GTX3076R had it for months no issues dam good buy and my track car will get one.... + 1 Kam good product i was very impressed and i am a brand whore lol

Kyle from 6boost usually reccomends larger gates for his manifolds (60mm for most seups) due to the design of the collector. 38mm is fine for most setups, the only time it'll become a problem is when trying to run really low boost with a largish turbo

Yep, told me 50mm minimum but i am going to try a 44mm Tial and see what happens....

The size of the wastegate required depends on

1. The capacity of the turbo (more capacity bigger w/g)

2. The amount of boost you are going to run (more boost smaller w/g)

3. The position of the wastegate in relation to the collector and turbo ( try to give w/g priority)

I have a 50mm wastegate coming straight off the housing of my GT3540:

I got one of these things lying around...

Battery, Im not doubting this is an ebay manifold but I think Kam should post a pic of his collectors up as i certainly would not be putting that mess anywhere near my engine. Kam?????????

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
