HAHA dont sit close, I was trying to keep up with the GTR's I was about 50m behind them and still getting smacked down with rocks

abcent: we have matching coolers :) Your front bar is nice and sand blasted, nevermind it can all be fixed for about $350! A small bill for a lotta fun :)

MSPEC: yeah I figure it'll be about that much to repaint, not too stressed, Had a ball on the day so yeah it was worth it, especially chasing golgo from kyton to the winery!!. Have to see if the small speckles on my windscreen can be polished out too. Not gonna bother re-painting the bonnet...want a carbon one soon anyway. An yeah my HKS cooler coped a hydeing!! so i'll have to sit down an try an straighten out all the fins.....funfunfun!!

R31nismoid: You make it sound like I'm trying to blame someone.....which I am not, as read in any other of my posts, I had a great time!! had some great driving, met some great people, was an allover good day. I'm aware i could have spaced myself 50m from every car, but if i wanted to drive alone i could of headed down to GOR by myself...lol....I'm just showing others what damage can be done an that next time car bras might be the go....which plenty of people agree. Whats happened to my car is my fault alone!! dont change the fact that it sucks...lol

Thanks to Ash, Andrew and James, was a great day, must admit this is the best car/cruising club in VIC by far. In respect to the next cruise I found out yesterday the Reefton Spur which was one of the options for the last cruise has been resealed and now a lot less bumps, nice and smooth, is a great drive too and the Reefton Hotel has lots of parking space, roads are pretty clear on Saturdays aswell, chockas with tourists on Sundays, roads stay real wet out there in winter though so maybe in late spring we organise a Reefton Spur cruise.

what you mean whatever?

If your riding ass you'll get chips.

The dy when we planned out the route James got a lot of chips, but i came away with like none... but i was sitting back a little bit more than he was on Andrew...

So, yeah, whatever shan

You probably wouldnt notice the chips on your car Ash  with all the other damage etc, lol - j/k!

Ash: on the section where you were leading, Snowy behind you, then me, I was exactly the same distance away from Snowy as he was to you [if not further abck after the showers started], so in theory he should have as many chips as me? I don't think Andrew has commented on chips yet though...

Hey guys......a big thank you to everyone who organized the cruise :-)

It was a great day and good to give skylines legs a good stretching out!!

I tried not to stick too close to the person in front but still managed to cop some stone-chips on my front bar.....some of those road surfaces leave a lot to be desired :-(

You probably wouldnt notice the chips on your car Ash :) with all the other damage etc, lol - j/k!

Waaa... im getting attacked from all angles :D:D

hahaha!

I dunno. I was following Golgo on the scouting and i didnt get any.

Ah well. Maybe my paint is different?

15 years of sun has made it tough lol

No Im fine as far as stone chips go but I always kept a distance from the car in front of me.... when there was one. I tended to be the lead car most of the time. :)

But as for all those people that were BEHIND me (Dale) well my super sticky advans were gripping anything and everything and throwing them up so......

475! 460!

I hate you both - OPEC are about to name an oil-rig in my honour :D

:P

I can only imagine how many I would've got had I kept off boost :D I had about 1/2 a tank and 275km up until the winery... then the paced picked up...

    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
