spotted (with binoculars) .... my new R34 sitting at the docks in customs/quarantine at North Haven :( - it arrived 7:30pm Saturday night - just 20 days after I paid for it, believe it or not!

Yeh nice work, did you know it was there or just checking, and stumbled across it?

your binoculars take picture?

seriously though that is damn fast shipment. btw do all imports sit at north haven? im just curious

No, mine is silver. The Viva Garage car has a 400R front bar, a different bonnet, standard mirrors and aftermarket front guards. Plus 100 RWKW worth of decals.

How much for the R34? Are you selling your S15?

I'm looking at importing / buying an R34 GTR in the not too distant future...

Saw a wild R34 GTR on Friday night about 8:15pm heading north on South Road just before the Sturt Rd intersection. Was white with Gt rear wing, looked like a carbonfibre bootlid, decals etc. Sounded brilliant.

Saw a blue R33 at the Woodcroft shopping centre carpark last Thursday. Had a great bodykit but I didn't recognise which type. Owner was sitting in the car so I didn't check it out fully.

Deluxe - yeah I knew it was there (had an arrival notice, and have been tracking the ship all the way from Japan.) We knew it had to be there somewhere, but the odds of finding it were quite low. We cruised and walked around the perimeter of the holding yards and finally found it.

Nozila - nah, that was taken with my did camera - it has quite good zoom. If a car comes directly into Adelaide, then it sits in North Haven holding yards until it clears quarantine/customs.

P1E - the R34 is setting me back around $22,500 landed ad on-road. Bloody cheap! I have no idea why this vehicle was so cheap, when normally they are up to $10k more - but as long as it's good when I get it, then I'll be stoked! Shanna from ns.com recently bought her R34 4 door here for around $35k (with some mods).

Yep I am selling the S15, will put an ad up everywhere very shortly! Asking $37K (has well over $20K of mods), which I think is a bargain.

nah it's a Turbo 4 door auto - steering wheel tiptronic - and includes mags, suspension, stereo and exhaust. Yep, have an auction sheet here (click), and there are pics of the car on my website www.andrewn.da.ru

I still love my S15 - it is just time for a change

Spotted a silver r33 coming out of caltex main north rd. Waved to the guy but didnt think he saw me - its was too dark and my windows were fogged up. Had fairly nice kit from what i could see, bn? rear with a viva sticker on back window. Was that you P1E, i was in the white line with unpainted stealth spoiler. Anyways, nice ride who ever it was. Had the meaniest exhaust note too and ive heard alot of exhaust notes.

My car's locked away out of the rain and cold

I know of three gunmetal R33s with the BN sides and rear, plus the white Viva Garage car.

smart thinking...as it was a horrible afternoon driving in the rain. Those bn rears looks rather nice.

I have had enough of modifying cars for the foreseeable future, but you never know, hopefully my next car will either be an R34GTR or a V35 - you never know what might happen with one of those!

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
