on the way to lala yesterday i drove along south road with a guy in a gunmetal grey 32 gtr. apparently his other car is identical but with big turbos, hks cams, power fc etc and makin heaps of power.......he was tryin to jokingly say something was missing in the top end of the stocker GTR lol :ninja:

good to talk to (and not be snubbed by) a fellow skyline owner.........especially of that calibre (compared to my shitter now rolling on 14" stockies  )

Spotted Vange yesterday afternoon on Goodwood road. I was waiting to pick up my friends right at the opposite of the Capri theater. Obviously didn't get a chance to raise my hand to say hi.

Also spotted a black r33 with a stealth wing on west terrace. I was at the light of gouger/west terrace. I flashed once to greet but unfortunately I got a "weird-looking-back" from the passenger. Not just once thou... i had the same "weird-looking-back" again this afternoon on west terrace. Hmm.... I guess all skyline drivers should look cool.....no saying hi to each other........ ( I am nearly giving up of being a nice line driver....... :/ ) :)

thats why we need stickers to identify who uses sau forums and who dont. either on side quarter, rear window or along the front side of front windscreen. you feel like an idiot after greeting another skyline owner who just give you that 'wdf look'.

awww dont give up hope bixby ill wave hello if i see you early enough :D

Thanks mate.... I'll definitely give it a try again..... :D Or maybe I should drive my car fast from now on - fast enough for not having a chance to wave! :D

Hopefully the next person I see on the road is one of SAUs.

I think you are absolutely right!! Don't want to be an idiot anymore for being a friendly skyline driver!

great idea!

are there currently any stickers available or if not i wonder if anyone on here is able to make some to order?

Well if no one is wiling to make them - there was discussion on here about it before, Im just going to get a one off for myself. I see soo many skylines and without any identification, I dont know whether to compliment the owner or just have a quick look as I pass and be done with it. The thing is most skyline owners in SA dont frequent these forums and if you say nice car or hey are you on SAU they are just like 'WDF' or snubb you off completely. At with a sticker, they can say oh I saw a xxxx color skyline with a sau sticker rather then I saw this xxxx car whose was it? Some ppl say it attracts unwanted attention but I think otherwise especially if its discrete.

I've still got the designs i made up a while ago

If you need a high-res adobe illustrator file i can send that to you to take to your sticker maker.

They'll be a meeting for small car sunday organising this sunday, i'll be taking along the sticker/banner sample. Hopefully if there is enough interest we can look at getting stickers done at the same time as the banner. But the best person to speak to at this stage is pkblade about that.

Ah ok, I spoke to pkblade at the dyno day but didnt know his was resonsible for this.

lol, I'll have one of each thanks !

seriously - they are both good designs (the 2 stickers in the link), would be good to get it off the ground. I might go on a USA website that does custom vinyl stickers and get a set made for myself, not that expensive.

oh - and LOLZ at the lad in the red Seca who raced past me on the expressway yesterday whilst turning back over his shoulder with a huge grin from ear to ear giving me a wave !! hahahaha *waves back* man your grin was HUGE

Yeah there was a bit of a kafuffle about who was getting the stickers done, originally i was going to use a contact on the nissanexa.com club to get some samples but he's been flat out lately. So i think pkblade's might have someone else in mind for the final banner production and/or stickers - i'm not entirely sure, but i guess things will be closer to being finalised by this sunday.

Btw, there's one more design if you like

As mentioned before i've got all the illustrator files for each variation, just let me know and i'll shoot you a copy.

If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
