also a red R34 on salisbury hwy

and a white R33 GTR, but cant remeber the road i saw it on.....

I met 32 GTR on goodwood road in the slow ass moving traffic on my drive home from work, wow your car is so straight and CLEAN !! omg, put my car to shame cos it was soooo dirty.... went straight home and washed it :P

also spotted a blue R33 with gold rims turning off brighton road onto seacombe road exchanged waves :(

typical that i ppl see my car just when i get it back from the mechanic and its filthy :P

had some dude in a silver r33 4 door (me thinks it was a 4 door didnt get a good look) right up my arse a majority of the way along main nth rd

if ur on here...............get off people's butts will you! your gonna have an accident if u keep driving that way

thank you.

I see a light silver 4 door R33 around Northgate area from time to time - he is always racing around like a dickhead. May be the same guy

nice silver R33 GTR V-spec with v-spec number plates on port road tonight after work

That would be my brother-in-law David (Redback on SAU) - I bought those number plates for him for his birthday

spotted her200sx well heard her first hi Shannon :)

Haha I spotted Shannon 3 times in one day last week - we had a laugh about it driving along Golden Grove Road shouting to each other out our windows.

Do you like her new black roof? Stickers  - a good idea really - you can just rip it off when/if you get sick of it. MattR and I have talked for years about covering a whole car with carbon fibre contact and entering it in Autosalon to see how it goes lol

spotted BLKSKY on my way home tonight, i was in the silver 32 that pulled up next to you at anzac highway/greenhill road intersection...

if you wondered where i went on marion road, it was to clean my car :D

soooo finally got the gtr running again eh?

no more bat flattery?

never "not running"... i think i just have a dodgey battery, charged it over the weekend and decided to take it for a blast today... 2 weeks without driving the GTR is 2 weeks too long =(

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
