ahh richard thats why you mentioned the drivers side window on my car today... very sneaky!

I have an awesome condition R33 GTR centre instrument cluster. Selling for $150 to the locals.

You know speedo, fuel gage etc...

PM me if your interested. Will put up pics real soon.

It has the CF backing and stuff OEM for the R33 GTR.

A great price folks - Cash talks and BS walks :)

Mate - I am so keen on setting up the best JDM Tuning house and parts shop in Australia.

The one everyone Trusts.

Just need the right peeps and get equity (Cash). Would love to do this on an unheard of scale.

Make the Japanese tuning houses ask advice from my engineers.

I would like Nissan/Skyline owners from NSW, VIC, SA and QLD to come to my Tuning house.

but thats never going to happen............

I can do the business but I dont have all the ready's, builders, tuners, mechs.

Like to seee shit done properly because I must have experienced every kent in this industry there is.

If I didn't like the experience I garauntee no one else does.

People pay for quality and warranty, those who carnt then get 2nd best :P

Edit: Cherry pick staff from JEM, Unigroup, CRD, Racepace, Willall, ESP, DVS + Bring in expertise from JP.

Get a big clean place in Hume. Build, Tune, bolt-ons, spare parts and get accrediation from Nismo, TRD, etc...

Do eiit!!

Not sure I've evered been offered warranty. Will be looking for it on the big engine build.

All i am going to say to that is that warranties are a scary thing when it comes to big engine builds thats for sure.

This may be a silly question, but have you lot ever thought about organising a get together somewhere and selling each other your shit? As in a swap meet I guess.

Maybe make it an "all Nissan" thing, so it's not just Skyline stuff, charge a few bucks per seller and put the money back into your club.

I know I still have plenty of bits and pieces lying around that someone else could probably use, but I just couldn't be bothered listing it all then having to arrange to be home for people to pick it up etc.

anyone interested in a turbo setup?

ETM steam pipe manifold (suits RB25 and RB26 stud pattern, ceramic coated)

Garret GT3582R external gate (0.82 rear housing, ceramic coated)

Synchronic 50mm external wastegate

ETM 4" - 3.5" dump pipe (ext wastegate is currently plumb back, fiberglass wrapped, made to suit 3L R33, will require shortening for non 3L applications)

4" mild steel intake pipe with filter (no provisioning for AFM)

3k

it is a good idea but there are a few swap meets around already that you guys could start going to like the canberra swapmeet thats held at epic each year in november.

i have been a part of it for many years and help set it up so i know how it all runs so if people wanted to they could come and set up a stall for what i remeber as $10 for an outside stall (5x5m) and see how they like it and what they sell (we will need to encorage more act jap car people to come out of their holes for once to have a better selling market) i remeber a guy this past year that was selling some supra parts that were good quality for a cheap price so there area few more people coming in from the outside which is good to see. i know sinista would make a killing if he went to one of these (mainly from me haha)

just thought i would share with you guys pm me if you would like any other info

    • So could it be assumed it has been installed intentionally with potentially a power FC boost controller kit?
    • Had my rig on Matt's dyno at PITS the other day. After a few years between tunes I added a few sensors and swapped intercoolers. Result. 553hp at 26psi. Not bad for an FJ20 that was built in 2007. The problem.. It filled the overflow bottle on hard runs which leads me to believe the head gasket isn't sealing. I have a coolant pressure sensor which was reading cap pressure at 22psi and occasionally overrunning to 23/24 psi on deceleration after a pull. It was not spiking. It has arp2000 head studs and a cometic gasket. As its been 18 years in service, I pulled the engine out and head off. Everything looks good but we obviously have an issue. Where I'm at.. Years ago I had the same issue, I checked the stud tension and they were all over the place. Some at 60 to 70 and some up near 90. I nipped them all to 100ft lbs and this stopped the water push until now. I believe this compromised the gasket back then. What do I do? 2 options are..  1) I bought arp 625+s, which I could put in with a new gasket. Thinking Kameari this time, reassemble and try again. 2) strip the block, get fire rings machined in with copper gasket and try that. I do not want to push it more than 28 to 30psi. I think the turbo will be out by then anyway. (G30-770). My other concern is the long term ability of a copper head gasket. Are they streetable for years? I feel like a new gasket with the new studs will probably suffice, but I don't know. Any thoughts welcome and advice on copper gaskets and fire rings. Thanks!
    • I'm a fan of the JZX110, and the Aristo. Big cruiser cars, and with the factory cars, super comfortable and feel like you're driving an armchair! And the JZ motors are a pretty nice engine too, especially with some basic mods.   The import process, and the need to be able to trust people, and the fact there's so many scammers around is what ever puts me off wanting to go through that ordeal!
    • I don't care for these at all, but at least the underside looks straight and not rusty. A good basis for a long life. Many cars from Japan have been lifted with forklifts and f**ked almost irrepairably.
    • Yes, but it's not dumb or dodgy. You can build a perfectly good boost controller from a pressure reg, a relief valve (looks same same as a reg if all from Norgren or SMC, for example) and a check valve. I ran one for years. Only superceded with  EBC because I could get one for cheaps and wanted finer control.   THis mod is certainly not a sketchy boost mod, provided the boost is kept below the "spin to death" threshold of the turbos.
