Strange.

The nismo s-tune one I have for my R34 GT-T (http://www.rhdjapan.com/nismo-s-tune-strut-tower-bar-front-skyline-r33-r34-bnr32.html) definitely has a brake cylinder stopper. Was a bit of a pain to fit initially because of it.

That was on yahoo japan. Very rough shape. It's scuffed pretty bad. It seems someone is buying up stuff to resell on ebay. Looks like he snapped a shot with a cell phone from the 90's. I think you can see the japan packaging still like he just opened it lol. I remember looking at it on yahoo it was pretty cheap, I would guess because of condition.

Its no secret nismo omori factory are making these big ti strut bars as per the link jtcc posted http://www.nismo.co.jp/omori_factory/original_menu/ttb/index.html

Ive been quoted about 2.5k aud, they can come with both the nismo and omori factory badges.

My latest nismo purchase should be here on monday, another set of lmgt4's because having 3 sets wasnt enough hahah

Yea I already have one ordered. From what I hear they make so many, when they're gone they are gone. Then you have to wait like 2 or so months for them to make more.....if they make more lol. That's nuts it costs you guys 1k more. I wish they had the old nismo logo though. I don't know why, I just don't like the new one. So I went with the black omori badge.

On my 33...

Nismo GMAX twin plate clutch

Nismo Clutch Slave

Nismo Clutch Bracket

Nismo GT Pro 2 way LSD

Nismo Tower bar WITH brake stopper

Nismo low temp thermostat

Nismo front and rear lower arms

Nismo indicators

Nismo Brake lines

Nismo Extended wheel studs
Nismo FPR

Going to purchase Nismo F+R Swaybars i think.

Did also have Nismo speedo, Timing belt, Short shifter and knob, B-Pillar trims and 550cc injectors but have been removed for upgrades, Namely Racepak/Attain shifter/HKS Belt/1000cc injectors.

Didn't actually realise I had so manny Nismo parts!

I eyed off the Nismo swaybars, but ended up going Whiteline f+r, as they're adjustable.

Are there any benefits to going Nismo swaybars over Whiteline? Are they bigger/thicker/stronger?

Front Nismo is 27mm, front whiteline is 24mm

Rear Nismo is 23mm, Rear whiteline is 22 mm or 24mm in the motorsport version.

Nismo sway bars are fixed, whiteline are adjustable.

Both around the same $$$.

And Nismo are lighter and djr81 said.

Thanks Rob and Anthony.

a) 3" system is fine with me

b) wiping the soot off at the end of a run - inside the bell - seems to be advisable

c) the restrictive elbow before the muffler was cut, so the system remains straight

d) I think I bought it off Fb Rob - GTR's n GTR Parts I think.

    • I also used Knox driveshafts when I the slip yoke T56 to the 3bolted TR6060 type. I believe I was one of his first jobs as it literally changed hands when I was there, started by the old owner and finished by the new. Everyone seemed pretty great about it. So wasn't shy/seemed pretty knowledgeable when dealing with weird custom people like me.
    • Just a reminder orange park was cool back in the day   and drifting the main circuit was even cooler   f**k I miss that car
    • We used Knox Drive shafts years ago when we were doing gravel rally, good guy but I heard it had changed hands? He's got a lot of stuff and is miles cheaper than GJ and so on. He used to have a lathe setup with a MIG torch on the tool holder so he could get the uni welds just right, quite a clever guy. I just got a driveshaft done for my sequential installation and that was through Balancing Services Australia in Preston, they did the Gibson cars in the old days. New genuine CV's, billet yoke, new centre bearing and chome moly shaft was $2k.
    • Thanks for sharing that mate, I've got a couple of spares on the shelf but all the unis are tight....will give old mate a shout. BTW are you sure it wasn't just a $400 paint job? Any detail of what they replaced (cut/reweld?)
    • Yeah I saw that about the US Q50 recently, apparently it was shown to Inifiniti dealers (probably to help with their depression about the cars they can sell). Seemed like a really obvious step to me, the platforms are very similar in many ways. Even if there aren't many people who actually put the money up it should really help with image/reputation. What hasn't been clear anywhere if that is a V38 model of if they are just going to add the trans as an option in a new model year. What they did with the Z from 370z to "Z" is just weird so I'd be surprised if they released this as a V38. Great news for me to have an option; it is far from confirmed that I can get any decent track sessions through the auto so having a manual I can swap to is great.
