SAU.NSW will be doing a cruise JTCC from Windsor to Singleton (tomorrow) along a lengthy road called Putty Road.

At the Singleton end (located on Google Maps), there are lots of twisties; so I'm looking forward to seeing how balanced the car is.

There's no geometric difference in this wishbone set that I installed 2 months ago...

Wishbone%20Links%20Rear-1_zps49l6ej6f.jp

but the tensile strength is different I'm sure. Doing so much in such a short period without me taking out the car for long stretches - but only for short hill climbs - is testing my memory a bit I must admit.

The nuances of each add-on are probably going to be somewhat imperceptible.

Yea I have had my eye on the nismo arms and circuit link kit also. Just to refresh the stock suspension. I'm sure the stiffer bushings will give the car a more solid feel. Especially replacing 25 year old factory bushings lol. From what I have read, the sway bars make the biggest change in getting rid of the factory understeer feel. Which I'm no race drive lol, but I think my stockish GTR with HKS coils and advan rubber already handles like a dream lol. Makes me really wonder what it feels like with something decently modified. Have fun on the cruise! Its summer down their.....we got winter lol. But it was 70 yesterday :)

Has anyone seen or heard of a Nismo branded gearbox shroud thing that sits around the top of the shifter to prevent oil coming out the top?

Someone told me about it but I haven't seen it or anything like it for sale anywhere.

Most likely. They go for around $200-250 depending on condition.

I don't know why the aussie market is so over priced lol. I just sold 2 of mine for 100 bucks USD (140 ish AUD). You can get these on yahoo japan all day for in the 7,000 to 10,000 yen range. The yellows are more rare and go for about $120ish USD (170 ish AUD). I think I will start selling parts to Australia lol. I have a lighter brand new in box never opened, wonder what you guys would pay for that lol. I've noticed you guys go crazy over nismo keys to. 8 points are higher priced than 10 points here. Can find 10 points on yahoo japan all the time for like $250 USD or so. 8 points seem to be disappearing quite fast, brings a higher price.

I recently pick up another Nismo Key to add to the collection at an affordable price.

There are more available from the Sydney seller in Kirrawee on eBay

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nismo-Key-Suit-Skyline-Gtr-300Zx-Silvia-Datsun-Owners-/281930600587?

Pretty sure you'll find those are non-genuine.

It also looks identical to http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nismo-Key-Blank-Nissan-Skyline-GTR-Silvia-R32-R33-S13-S14-R31-/301863018274?hash=item4648701f22:g:CPsAAOSwnLdWsBrS ... which is also at a much lower price.

Nismo Key Blanks

These have been designed based off the original keys and updated with the current Nismo logo
These reproduction keys are limited production so get in fast once they are gone they are gone.

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
