Then why even contemplate getting rid of it?

Ive already explained in my previous posts but the fact why it doesnt bother me to get rid of her as much is cause I know Il buy another one in the future. I think of her as the first child, you love her to death but being new to parenting you make certain mistakes. When the second child comes along the mistakes you made with the first are ironed out.

Parenting / GTR owning 101 ;) haha

So you have a car you spent 80k on but nothing else?

She is pretty much the only thing to my name. In the process of doing some property development hence could use the extra money. Can get it from other means (bank etc) however this is another one of the many small things contributing to my decision to sell. I am by no means in a rush to sell, I will get her back on the road and enjoy her but Im not ruling out the possibility of sale in the not too distant future

Sell it.

Buy Getz.

???

Reminisce.

sheeeeeeeeeeeeeit.

So if Im reading this right, you have jumped into buying a expensive car, thrown even more money at it, and now you want to sell it?!

You are only a year younger than me and I seem to make more sense.

Also you should most likely have bought a less expensive gtr, you would have been cheering even if the clutch blew.

I wanted a R34 GTR and wouldnt settle for anything less. Wouldnt necessarely call it jumping into things as it was the car I was always going to own and I have had it for almost 2 years now.

Things change in 2 years, circumstances in life change. Its not impossible for me to keep it, it would just make my life easier if it was gone.

The whole reason I made this thread was to ask for an opinion on available options that would give me the an extra 20-30k in my bank account if i chose to sell the 34 while still having a cheap toy to play with ie 32R/33R/S15 and get some helpful input without your self and your clown mate ta1lor made trying to stir the pot.

Not stirring the pot here, what Im doing is calling your decision rash and that you did not know what you got yourself into.

I think you just wanted the fast furious car, without worrying how much it cost at the time. Now the reality of how much money you've thrown away has caught up to you, and you're having a sook about a clutch!

If you truelly wanted this car, then you would keep it.

Sell it and invest in property. Make some decent money, buy another one later on down the track when they'll be worth 30G. You can either be a 22 year old who only has a car to his name, or you can build on your wealth and have some other assets to your name and comfortably afford one later.

I ain't even mad... nor 22 yet

with cash

Stop being a muppet mate if u got a problem with me u can see me at the next cruise and address it to my face otherwise I suggest you stop being a smartass and get the f*ck out of the thread

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
