Someone says you did something, you have video proof you didn't. You keep yourself safe on the road that way. Is that not obvious?

Not to say it can't happen but Ive never been in a situation like this and its not something I worry about either.

I hate these things with a passion! just wait till every car comes fitted with one from factory and you can upload a clip to the cops with one button! It will be pointless owning any sort of road registered performance car.

to me is sounds like you are anti forum kind of material, sure your not the kid with 2 cams in his car reporting everyone in vicotria from car meets?

sure seems that way....

regardless of the above if your not interested in any sort of way GTFO if you going to be negative towards everyone else that may want one...

This logic sucks dude. Many people have insurance without ever having been in an accident nor expecting to. But accidents happen, a lot, just like wrongfully issued speeding tickets or some prick trying to pin an accident on you. No one wants to take responsibility for accidents these days and some incidents are very difficult to prove. I know of at least 5 accounts of people getting screwed over or attempted to by the person at fault. One of them now refuses to drive a vehicle without one of these cameras fitted.

There's a reason so many in Russia use these. Your reasons against using them seem to be so that you can break the law?

Keen to see your feedback on the units. How does it protect from filming over existing data that you wanted to keep - ie. the accident footage. In case it happens you forget to turn it off or 'cant'.

Thats 10 units, Those who havent left deposits etc please do so...i will chase you up shortly

in the case of an incident (impact) the G sensor auto locks and protects that file so it can not be over written.

normal daily driving will record new files everytime u use the unit and will overwrite the oldest file on the unit and so on unless you remove it via pc etc. The only time this doesnt happen as is stated above under impact scenario.

The unit can be powered by internal battery for around 40mins after ignition (12v) is stopped if you wish to and this can be set manually so will not continue to run when you get out of the car

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
