hey mate, just want to say yours is the only red skyline Ive actually liked...so well done.. i normally don't like red on cars period :)

im running a simmilar settup to what your looking at... 720cc injectors/z32/nistune/atr43ss2 and im making 265rwkw at 18 psi but have a top end restriction so once i sort that out il be seeing closer to 300
its a great turbo man... lose a little bit of response but it kicks you in the face when it hits... as for the intake pipe i would seriously consider getting that replaced with a metal one at anything over 220kw (from past experience)

cheers man. keep working hard..

gtt master race mate! +1 sub

Timmy just asked him about it!!!! He said it should be sweet. Very excited. The old wallet is taking a beating.

My next problem:

Should I install my turbo and replace exhaust gaskets and drive up to central coast from western sydney?

or should I pay to have it fit in there..

There is a big price difference. Some people say its fine. Jez is advising against it.. I am unsure what to do

Yeah I wouldnt drive it untuned... or if you have too I wouldn't hit more then 3k rpm as well as not driving very far

Have a look around for cheap tow.. or maybe even see if someone on here has a car trailer you can flick some dosh their way.

Good luck either way mate itl be fun when its in!

i put a hypergear highflow on mine many years ago and drove it to the tuner.. going to central coast though you're bound to put it on some load going uphill which might be a risk

tow would be silly expensive.. If it was me 2 yrs ago I would of risked it if it was a relatively standard setup and done something like leave the actuator off so it was a pig with no power, would use a full tank driving that far easily though

Maybe I'm alone in having driven with my highflow fitted for around 6 months running on a 10psi actuator - the ECU seemed to handle it fine (I did disconnect the factory boost control).

If you had a bigger actuator / higher boost, that would definitely be a problem though.

Joey!!!

I wish I could as they are right behind my house. But they seem pretty busy for the time being as I haven't heard back from my enquiries yet. I decided when I go the e85 route and get an ecu I'll do it with them for the final form

Hopefully jez will help me with my daily duties for now.

Man you gotta go in and see them, they deal with bulk time wasters so at times they may be too busy to reply or call back. If you see them face to face the they know your serious. Even after all this time I always going in and have a chat to the boys if I need stuff done :)

They should still be there when you finish work and if you can't get Yavuz make sure you get a hold of Mark

Yeah that's probably why I think. That's fair enough. I've only heard good things. I have been there before a while back briefly. I don't know them personally though. I've already committed to jez. So we will see how it goes.

Put a leather steering wheel cover. Turned out okay

My leather was all cracked and spliting on my standard wheel so I put a JDM S15 wheel in wiring harnes is the same as r34 so the airbag & horn plugs straight in :)

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
