Luke i'll use the gts4 seat if I can't find some recaro's or bride seats. It was interesting that the engineer said if

I brought seat rails or built them either way he would have to inspect them.

She's really coming along nicely. I badly want to see this smoke so many others that have no idea what's in it, at the drag strip.

Keep up the excellent work man,

Pathos.

Absolutely super impressed!! You clearly have amazing talent, Coming from a background growing up with old holden's and coming into the Jap scene, I am loving this build, will e fantastic to watch on a circut

Had a bit of a side project for a mate, before he fitted his new motor he wanted paint the engine bay and asked me to fix some rust

and fill all the holes in the engine bay.

Now back to mine, fitted the fuel tank, changed the r33 hand brake cables to the r32 ones and fitted the rest of the hand brake.

Also fitted the ATTESA pump and started working out which line I would be able to reuse. I might bolt everything together

and take it to Show us ya wheels at Numurkah in December.

Got a bit more done, fitted the motor and gearbox, tacked up the gearbox cross member using the skyline one. Fitted 10mm

spacers between the front subframe and the adapter plates to drop the motor down a bit for more bonnet clearance and fitted

the radiator and intercooler.

Thats it!!!

Barstardise the shizzle out of that Holden!!

I would love to see this thing on the street when it is finished.

Will scare the crap out of alot of people, and confuse many more.

You work quick mate. Are you going to fully seam weld those chassis rails or just leave them stitched? Interested to know why?

Generally it's to stop potential cracks spreading along the length of a seam.

I can't get enough of this build; it's my two favourite cars made into one piece of awesomeness.

Interesting and makes sense, cheers! And I agree, this car is going to be mental!

Made up a dodgy clutch line to check if the under the dash master cylinder setup I made works, after bleeding it the pedal feels alot lighter

then the skyline pedal. Gave it a quick coat of etch primer to tidy it up. Not much more will be done to this one as I need to

finish painting my other torana sedan.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
