He had a BSB 34?

I thought this was his VS2, pictured here with his S15

Cars were stored at AE Performance, from whence Paul and Rogas were leaving at the time of the crash.

Rodas is CEO of AE, pretty sure Walker had a stake in the place too.

Some more info on Roger Rodas (http://www.autoweek.com/article/20131201/CARNEWS/131209999)

Sadly Rodas leaves behind a wife and two kids, Walker too has a single 15 year old daughter

I remember going to see the first Fast and Furious movie at the cinemas as a teenager in 2001, thinking I wonder how blasphemous and unrealistic hollywood and its actors can portray the import scene (by this age I was already a huge GTR nut :I ). Paul proved me wrong. RIP mate. The first movie left a lasting impression :)

why is that porsche's always burst into flames when they crash

+1. Ryan Dunn (Jackass movie actor) also killed in 2011 in a GT3 - burst into flames.

I think Lambo's and Fezza's have the same tendency.

quote from the news

Meanwhile, preliminary investigations have revealed that mechanical failure could have led to the crash that killed Walker and another man.

The likely cause of the failure that triggered the crash has been identified as a powering steering fluid leak.

Tmz said that witnesses saw loss of traction in a straight line and what seemed to be loss of steering that couldn't be corrected....something Rodas would not let happen if it wasn't a mechanical failure.

The thing couldn't be steered.

Fluid was seen all the way from the point of loss of control to point of impact.

Tragic.

I'm Shattered.

"Walker and another man"? A bit disrespectful to the other victim. Both bled the same colour blood yet only one was shown the courtesy and respect of being named.

Just because Paul was famous he got the main story... I looked up to Paul. Sad to see him gone. But Rodgers family lost a father, son, husband, grandchild and yet no one care... Makes me sad

R.I.P Paul Walker - Rodger Rodas

:( Thats not cool at all ^^ Horrible to think he could have been saved

For me, for sure the saddest celebrity death I can remember. Watching that 'Mines' video sums it up for me. He seemed like he was just a regular car loving guy, that just so happened to get into movies, and never really changed. Def taken way to early

R.I.P Paul Walker

I'm still in shock. It's taken a while for it all to sink in for me. If it wasn't for this man and the entire F&F series i'd still be driving around in a bunky commodore laying single peggers everywhere.

The JDM scene and car enthusiasts everywhere have lost a true icon. My condolences go out to his and Roger Rodas' Family and Friends.

RIP The Both Of You.

    • I did basically the same procedure on a ZF6HP but the reason to pull the valve body is to replace the seals between the valve body and the transmission which are notorious for leaking pressure with age causing poor shifting and burning out the clutches. If you just wanted to exchange all the fluid you should be able to undo one of the transmission cooler return lines to drain into a bucket while using the pressure filler to keep it topped off.
    • The title should have posted "EFR7670 exhaust housing selection RB26" I can seem to edit thr title on my Android.
    • I'm looking for some real world experiences/feed back from anyone who has personally ran a EFR7670 with a 1.05 exhaust housing or a .83 I'm leaning towards the .83 because its a street car used mostly for spirited driving in the canyons roads. I"m not looking for big numbers on paper. I want a responsive powerband that will be very linear to 8000 rpm. I dont mind if power remains somewhat flat but dont want power to drop off on top. The turbo I've purchased is a 1.05, although the mounting flange T3 vs T4 and internal vs external waste gates are different on both housings, I not concern about swapping parts or making fabrication mods to get what I want. Based on some of the research I've done with chat gpt, the 1.05 housing seems to be the way to go with slightly more lag and future proofing for more mods but recommends .83 for best response/street car setup. AI doesn't have the same emotions as real people driving a GTR so I think you guys will be able to give me better feed back 😀
    • Surely somebody has one in VIC. Have you asked at any shops?  Is this the yearly inspection or did you get a canary?
