I've never quite been able to work it out, but I'm a big fan of shots like this. Nice

Playing with new HDR software with some photos I took one morning, had abandoned after I used the photoshop HDR merge, but turned out great with the new software

Stitched a Pano together and ended up with this. Im happy with it for a first go, Safe to say the original photos werent quite there and photoshop showed this, much happier with this result. Going to go out and play with some night time HDR I think:

Got a question..... Does anyone use lightroom for their photos? And is it better/worse/about the same as photoshop elememts?

I've read some good things about lightroom being a bit better for processing photos and is a bit simplier than photoshop but not real sure if I would get any benefit out of it

I do, and I love it. I suck with Photoshop, so most of my editing is done via Lightroom, and if I need something cloned out (like power poles behind cars, etc.) then I'll export it to Photoshop to do.

Just learning on a new point and shoot camera, pocket sized camera I got. Just raw default settings so haven't really played around with the features yet.

Completing new to photography

But since getting the camera can't stop taking pics

Was at Coolum Beach for the week for new years.

Started to rain and thunder plus lightning.

So i got my camera out and keen to get a lightning shot

This is my best photo out of many many attempts

Id love to get some storm shots. But it never really happens here. And when it does the rain hits to quick or im nowhere near my camera. Love shots of cities with lightning hanging around. Would be great
