Yes I am.

I had decided to go nitto invo, called up earlier to make sure they had stock and they dont :( they have offered me yokohama advan sport v103 for $210ea which I think is pretty reasonable. So unless someone has had a bad experience and can tell me to stay away that's what I will be going with

Did you try St George Tyres for the invo's?

They are listed on FleaBay now so hopefully have stock. Cheaper on their web site though, showing the 245/45/18's at $175 each (bargain!).

Like the Dunlops Dale mentioned, they too can be rotated onto any corner which is great for wear.

Gave them a call they do have stock. $185 fitted and balanced. Might give them a go then

How do you find the throttle cable. Have you had any ecu issues following this mod. This is one mod I would like to achieve next

Josh is running a full "Wire in" Adaptronic ECU now; This would be near on impossible on an OEM ECU.

I'd rather see Adaptronic support the OEM throttle, so it can be made to operate in a completely linear fashion (what you ask for at the pedal; you get at the TB).

Then it will be a complete solution.

As dale said you will need a full after market ecu. There has been no issues as yet. Quite a fan of it. The only negative some people may have is that the gear uses the throttle through the standard ecu to control it. What this means is that in auto mode it uses speed to change gears rather then throttle and engine. The positive side though is that it doesn't hunt around for gears on the freeway etc which I love. Also with my combination it shift faster then if does normally. Manually the car drives heaps better.

So will it actually kick down in auto at all?

Are Adaptronic interested in properly integrating the OEM throttle, or have they not been approached about it?

It will kick down via manual mode, or as if goes down to lower speeds it changes down automatically.

Craigs was tuned using the standard throttle

First impressions? I guess you haven't had much of a chance to try them out properly.

Yeah I haven't been for a proper drive yet. And had wheels in the back I didn't want flying around the car. But I can say they feel super smooth and are very quiet.

Hopefully get to drive it a but more tomorrow. The big test will be launches at the track on Wednesday

well the first night at the drags since being tuned wasn't a success, but i thought i would post a video here anyway.

the car had two issues, one that it wouldnt build boost on the line and second was hte gear box was over heating (tranny cooler will be fitted very soon) so it was changing up gear by itself and not holding in third like i told it to.

Best time 13.8 170km/h

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
