Duncan
good luck with the build....sounds like there could have been cheaper options tho? why the neo engine for example, they could just rebuild what you already had  Same with EMS, why not just use a PowerFC? DezertEagle
I chose the EMS and 34 Engine because I have the means too. My uncle is owner of Stevens Prestige at Lansvale he had a Neo 'Lying around' the workshop so to speak. I chose EMS because thats what he recommended, he uses it on his heavily modified GTR, which will be out soon Can you tell me whats wrong (or good) with EMS? (seriously because I just dont know about aftermarket ECU's) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/44775-neo-powered-r33/#findComment-915032 Share on other sites

I "know" a guy up here that did a Neo into a 33 and he said it was a nightmare to fit the 33 engine wiring harness to a Neo. I'll admit this guy was no brain surgeon but there is plenty of differences apparently, not just engine but body related as well. DezertEagle, I asume you don't have the Neo harness? Thats why you chose aftermarket? Anyway, good luck with it! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/44775-neo-powered-r33/#findComment-915078 Share on other sites

Roy
Which EMS ecu will ypu be using, id stay well away from the Stinger, may as well bolt on a draw thru carbie/turbo setup. The better EMS option would be the 8860, though i havent seen too many workshops use one yet, even Rigoli who seems to stick with the Stinger on RBs.
