Nah I'm ok, apparently I'm not fast enough for the SAU team but I have a spot on the RTDC team

Luckily I am a member of more then on club :D

That does not make much sense, I was going over some of the Bulahdelah results and you did very well and so did RTDC ??

Matters not, as long as you have a mob to race with and have fun

Looking forward to the next round

I ended up 4th outright at Bullahdellah with a Trent ( a team mate ) coming 3rd outright, we where the two fastest street cars :)

As a team we came 3rd overall

Sounds like your car has been running strong any latest Dyno or changes you have made.

Are you still doing most of the work on it ?

Well done mate, sounds like a good set up. Whats the motor specs/ power?

Forged RB2630 with twin GT-RSs, I have a pair of Hypergear turbos to go on after the next round of the hill climb championship with LS2 truck coils and a OS88 :D

And I do ALL the machanical stuff myself

Sounds good mate, what power is it currently?

Nice. What boost to make 450kw?

Do you have a graph? Ive always wondered how -10s would come on boost on a rb30?

Also love the fact u do your own work, i do my own mechanical and ecu tuning aswell, more satisfying thar way.

Also getting feedback from blokes that know what they are talking about and do the work is great, just a matter of weeding out the talkers from the workers and is not easy for a for blokes like me that just start doing mods :)

It seems that there is not only one way to get what you want, or close to it , a bit of trial and error seems to be the norm :)

28psi, that's the limit of -10s on a 3.0, 22-25psi is comfortable for them and they make positive pressure from 2200rpm and pull hard from just over 3k

The RPMs where not set for this car so they are way off, the run is 2500-8000rpm

-10's/GTRS's hit full boost around 5000 on a 3lt. 5500ish on a 2.8, or 4500 on a 3.15lt. With the 3.15lt I managed to see 30lb at 4000 rpm once when loading up on a dyno, but you could never achieve that load point on the street, even in 5th or 6th gear.

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
